Oh snap. Been looking for the original album. Does anyone know if the collector’s edition is complete? I caught the theatrical version and got so caught up in it that I forgot to notice if it was complete or not. I know most of it is there. I’m dying to check out the other 2 versions.

I agree, it is one of the better "disco mixing" of a sci/fi theme so far done.

Cool upload. I used to have the original soundtrack when I was a kid. Obviously, the score is great, though in later years I was a little amazed at how one of the themes sounds like it was lifted from North by Northwest, intentionally or not.

I’d love the link for the collector’s extortion of this score. I never liked the shorter release so much, but the collector’s edition is another matter entirely! It’s a favorite of mine from Williams, my favorite composer. The copy I ripped into iTunes is of crappy quality and like all my CDs, it’s now buried in storage. Thanks so much for all your kindness!
