Hi everyone. I have recently taken an interest in collecting television and movie scores of the Western film genre. Whether it be American made westerns or the European "Spaghetti" westerns.
It would be convenient if download postings for this type music could be in one general area.
At this time my wishlist includes:

‘MacKenna’s Gold’ – the Tsunami TSU 0127 version. (the current one I found has break-up flaws in the first track, need good copy)
‘The Horse Soldiers’ – A 1959 John Wayne Western with music by David Buttolph
‘The Unforgiven’ – A 1960 Western with nusic by Dimitri Tiomkin
‘John Wayne’s West: In Music and Poster Art’ – a Bear Family Records release that has music from virtually all John Wayne western films

If anyone has any other leads or postings of this genre I would be interested in hearing from you.

Look up each of those movie titles and find out who did the music for them. Then do a search here by the composer. Then, you shall find those scores.

Another Western film score I’m looking for is "The Shootist" from 1976 starring John Wayne, his last film. I’m not certain but I believe a soundtrack album of Elmer Bernstein’s score was released and the time.

Are there any recordings of the title songs to the following 60’s Westerns?
‘Support Your Local Sheriff"
‘Support Your Local Gunfighter’
‘The Good Guys And The Bad Guys’
‘There Was A Crooked Man’

Come on now! Anybody have any rare Western movie scores for me to download?
I’m still looking for a 320kps version or greater quality of the 1959 movie "The Horse Soldiers" for my collection.

Does anybody happen to have links to the multiple CD set ‘John Wayne’s West: In Music and Poster Art’?

Hi, I’m looking for the 2CD set "Best of the West" with William Motzing conducting the Czech Symphony Orch. (Edel, 1993)

Many thanks!
