Here is the OST for Sword Of Vermilion, recorded from the headphone jack of a Model 1 Genesis. (Technically from the line-outs of an attached Sega CD, but same thing.) The Genesis is an original model with "High Definition Graphics" above the cartridge slot, so there should be no distortion in the sound. Audio was captured using a Behringer U-Phono UFO202 and Audacity 2.0.1. Aside from some volume optimization, this is raw audio straight from an actual console, no emulation. Each looping track was allowed to play twice, then given a 10-second fade-out. Tracks are named according to the sound test mode:

01 Opening 2:04
02 Title 0:51
03 Name Entry 7:23
04 Statts 2:12
05 Erias 1:53

I tested the file and it’s fine. However, the archive is split at track 11. Do you have both parts? You might try redownloading, or run the repair tool in the main WinRAR program. I included a 10% recovery record, so if one of the files was corrupted during the download you might be able to recover it.

You were right, I re-downloaded both rars and this time track 11 works. Guess I should have tried that before whining 😉
