Psycho Soldier Promotional Audio Cassette: included as a bonus with the Famicom release of Athena in 1987.

Procedure: Original (and apparently still factory-wrapped) cassette -> Yamaha KX-W202U Double Cassette Deck (brand new) -> Audacity 1.3.14 beta @ 16/48 -> FLAC encoder

Scans: Included are high-resolution PNG scans (and smaller JPG versions) of the cassette, the case insert, and both sides of the lyric sheet. Scanned at 1200 and 600 dpi with a Canon MP280. Also included are images from two eBay auctions; one is the cassette from which this rip was made, the other shows a PS cassette in its original context as a pack-in with Athena.

No problem. I know that at least one MP3 rip was floating around, and one or two of the tracks were on YouTube, but I decided to get an actual tape and do a high-quality wav rip. I found one on eBay, and then copied it with a brand-new tape deck (this is literally the first tape I put in it). The tape itself didn’t look like it had ever been opened.

33 is the ‘dry vocal’ (vocal sample only) ENG version

No ‘music only’ nor ‘dry vocal’ versions of ‘Kizudareka no BLUE MOON’ are included anyway. 🙂
