Thanks Kobalski. In my opinion, Ormandy and The Philadelphia Orchestra were one of the great conductor/orchestra combinations in all of classical music performance and recording ranking along with Reiner and the Chicago Symphony and let’s not forget Szell and the Cleveland Orchestra.
