De nada !
I raced back home to NYC from a US tour with a band to catch Denny play a show (on piano as a jazz trio) at a jazz club. I was only able to catch the last half but made a point of telling him after the show that I thought "Invasion" was one of the best soundtracks I’d ever heard. He thanked me but he seemed like he wasn’t interested in talking about it. He had talked about working as a psychoanalyst (or a psychiatrist, I don’t remember – something like that) extensively during the set and he had this semi creepy vibe that caught me off guard. He looked and sounded like a stereotypical overly intellectual west coast shrink (complete with white hair and beard) crossed with an aged hippy who has a fondness for new age lingo and dropping "man" into every other sentence. I was little creeped out by his leather pants.
Was very happy to hear these tracks in full and separated from their use in the film for the first time, after many years of having played the film as background music. This only adds to my appreciation and belief that this is a one of a kind score. Thanks for the share!
I dont think Mediafire deletes links
If I may quote myself:
You should add that this is the score from the 1978 version, not from the 1956 one (which was composed by Carmen Dragon).
Thanks for the share!
If you are looking for the score of the 1956 version, go here:
