A composer that was so very, very unique. His concertos are all show stoppers for the solo instrument AND the orchestra. Both shine with originality and brilliance.

It is old music… but for many of us it is new. So little exists of this remarkable composer. Naxos has released a number of discs. Listen to what is here and run out and buy what you can. Some time ago I added a rare harp concerto (all of his work is rare) that is in 3 slow movements. Marvelous.
