[FLAC] Paper Mario Sticker Star (3DS)

Hello and welcome to the PMSS Project! I’m currently ripping the music from the game to high quality formats, and I would appreciate your help!

While I have recorded the entirety of chapters 1-3, there are still nagging sound effects in quite a few of the songs, and the the rest of the game still has yet to be recorded.

"So how can I help?" you might be asking yourself. Well, it’s simple! Take your 3DS and a line-in cable (you can find them for cheap on amazon), plug it into the microphone thing on your CPU, open an audio recorder program, and press record!

Stuff to record:
Accusations – The theme at the beginning of the game where Kirsti accuses you of being the culprit of the whole fiasco at Decalburg
The Town Unraveled – The theme where Decalburg’s town square is revealed.
The Goomba Bros. – The theme that plays when you try to leave Decalburg for the first time, and the Goombas stop you.
Bowser Jr.’s Theme – Has the helicopter sound in the background.
Perfect Bonus – You know, the theme that plays when you get a Perfect Bonus.
Megasparkle Goomba Battle – The song that plays during the first big boss battle. All I need is the intro, really.

I’m keeping track of this! I really love the music of this game. Hopefully someone with a good audio editor can get rid of any possible sound effects nice and cleanly.

Hi there! Some tests, projects, and <del>the Wii U</del> have gotten in the way of making as much progress as I would have liked. However, I have returned, and with 20+ new tracks. Chapters 2 and 3 are completely complete and I’m gonna start on Chapter 4 tonight, and hopefully I will get at least halfway through that.

Any news on the last two chapters?

The song titled "World Map" has the first three (world 1, 2, and 3) all mixed into one. It changes at 0:46 and 1:32. Same goes for World 5, but I haven’t gotten to world 6 yet.

Also, I’ve just been lazy. Sorry. Should come by the end of the week. (fo realsies this time)

By the way, I’m a huge Lovedelic nerd and I checked up on the other "sound" people. They are largely sound effects people for Vanpool and Intelligent Systems. Yasumasa Yamada MAY be a composer; he’s famous enough. However, the 2 likely composers are the great Masanori Adachi and Kiyoshi Hazemoto, both of Vanpool (Taro Kudo wrote the game before Miyamoto ruined it) and formerly of Lovedelic. Hazemoto did the music for this year’s The/Dillon’s Rolling Western, and Adachi did the music for all of Skip’s, Vanpool’s, Punchline’s, and most of Lovedelic’s games. I can tell it’s them, too. So, I would suggest labeling them with those 2 for sure and maybe Yamada.

And I’d love an update, too!

So here’s the story:

My big, expensive PC has shitty sound quality when I record through the microphone port, so I had to do everything on my mom’s laptop. Wasn’t too much of a problem, I just had to deal with a slower computer and stuff. So I finish Chapter 5 and start Chapter 6, and pretty much get to the very end of the game. That’s when my mom decides to delete all progress I had on those two chapters and then proceed to empty her Recycle Bin.

tl;dr: My mom deleted Chapters 5 and 6 and I don’t feel like redoing the entire game to get back to that point.

I wouldn’t mind doing the main tracks again, but I honestly won’t do any of the non-main stuff.

This game’s soundtrack is amazing.
It would be great if someone could maybe direct me to a complete version.

I actually unlocked the sound test some time ago, and I can vouch that the sound test doesn’t have every track. It only has some of the level tracks and a few others, but it has none of the boss themes.
I’ve been trying to work on making a recording myself as it irks me that no PMSS recording is actually complete, but I’m having some trouble with static and such (and it’s my first time recording these and I’m having other kinds of troubles with that…). I’m still working on it, so hopefully some time in the near future I can upload it.
