For this fully restored and completed OST, Discs 1 and 2 used the original 6 track stereo masters and make the previous version of the score I have excess baggage. After listening to this over the last few days I believe astounding in sound quality pretty well covers it.

Recorded over 12 days from June to October 1959 at the M-G-M Studio Scoring Stage in Culver City,Ca.,IMHO this is the single finest performance by this orchestra for an M-G-M movie score.
