Talk about a pleasant surprise!
Jackman provides a nice combination of old-school VGM sounds with big orchestral stuff. Plenty of Mickey-Mousing going on here. Even with the songs, there is about 45 solid minutes of score here.

While this is the first time I’ve heard the phrase ‘Mickey-Mousing’ without some sort of negative connotation, I do agree that it’s an interesting collection.
