Can you be specific in what you’re having trouble with?

When I try to download it, instead of giving me a 559.80 mb file, I get a downloader program instead called SS M.rar, which is 285kb in size!

Question: What’s the difference between the tracks in the Part 2 download versus the same tracks in Part 1? It looks like all the same tracks from 4-13 onward. Is it more polished or something?

Anyway, that aside, I have to say this is an absolutely masterful rip! Again, just as with the NSMBW rip (even more so here), I love how you blend all the medleys together into a single track–my previous rip of this game had separate tracks for each and every tiny variation, which got a bit tedious and cluttered up the playlist. So your rip is all the brilliant in comparison. And having just listened to tunes from this game today for the first time in ages, I’d forgotten just how wonderful a soundtrack this really is. Thank you so much!

Because I use iTunes and iTunes doesn’t play FLAC, I decided to get the mp3 version (actually I got both).

Is it possible there’s something wrong with the mp3 version? Almost every track has these weird noises. Clicks, beeps, disturbances in the force… I don’t know what they’re called.

Try converting the files to 44.1 kHz; iTunes doesn’t play some 32 kHz tracks properly for some reason.

Also – if you really want that FLAC version on iTunes, you could just encode the files to ALAC. It’s lossless also, and it’s a format iTunes supports.

Ah thanks, I did some testing and found out it’s just iTunes that messes up the quality.

I ended up converting the FLAC files to 44.1 kHz MP3, 40 at a time using Audacity. 🙂
