I bring you today an asian soundtrack from this movie. Since the movie had a different director, and a complete different production, the soundtrack was not composed by Kenji Kawai as it was in the other 2 original movies of IP Man. This movie is a prequel to the original movies plot. Although if you watch all movies you will get how different this movie is compared to the rest. IN my opinion this movie misses a lot of deep elements shown in the original plots.
About the music.
This was my introduction to this composer. First time hearing his work. And I must say I quiet enjoy it. We have both good symphonic action themes and romantic ones. But what I like it even more is the use of traditional asian music instruments and compositions.
A very good and delightfull work in my opinion. 🙂
By the way. The cover picture I donwloaded before was from a site in which the picture was protected, meaning, the picture changed for another with the name of the chinese website where I got the picture in first place. 0.o Talking about Twilight Zone events…

indeed, the story may not have presented the same over the edge fight scene but still packs a delightful treat for all martial arts film enthusiasts. if i am not mistaken the martial art choreography was still done by a Martial Art legend and superstar Sammo Hung.

I am not sure. but I think I saw his name related to this…. :/
maybe that is why I like it so much 😀

i’m a big fan of Sammo Hung from his earlier films alongside Yuen Biao and of course Jackie Chan.
having both Hung and Biao in this film is like a big bonus. lol
