Ahhhh…. early Vangelis. I remember the days. I believe L’efant was used in The Year Of Living Dangerously… and from Vangelis’ "China" was a snippet used in Ridley Scott’s perfume advertisement on TV- the plane shadow going over a swimming pool from which a male model emerges.

Early ‘new age’ material… now it all sounds rather silly (to my ears). Today it seems that only Steve Roach still does proper new age music (with augmentation of exotic percussion)…. though he does suffer a few flops as well.

"Hymne" is absolutely sublime! Probably my all time fave Vangelis track. That and the choral version of it on the ‘Portraits’ album.

PS: Thanks for the share, of course.
