This was a very quirky and at times funny/charming film. As an animal lover supreme I could not help but laugh outloud during one off camera joke. Would have liked less of the F-word pouring from Kristen Scott Thomas (and married to Rowan Atkinson? Very farfetched) … but this is a film with Maggie Smith so… you just sit back and enjoy. And Amelia Fox was on the spot playing a younger version of Maggie Smith (having the benefit of watching the whole film before her small role was tacked on at the beginning).
