HALLOWEEN II (1981) COMPLETE SCORE

Here’s another one I revisted a couple of the tracks had noticeable edits so I went back and fixed those. Here’s where it gets crazy I used the 30th Anniversay soundtrack I also used the dvd which was only stereo no 5.1 to work with which was challenging. I also used the new blu ray but I used the Television cut which had one cue that had very little sfx. Whats interesting about this soundtrack Alan Howrath used John Carpenters original 16 track score and synthesize the music.

Prelude has the best atmospheric sound using the Halloween theme – synth is great!

Thank for this so very much, I always enjoyed the CD soundtrack album of this score, but always wanted the actual film score version. The was nice and was glad to get all the extra stuff but it still was not the film score. We know that scores get terribly butchered and edited to fit the film, been sometime those butchered edit to film soundtrack just flow, for a listening experience. Your edits were wonderful and I could not believe what I was hearing for the first time every, sequences like Is It Him & Breaking Through The Doors & On Fire! Such a Surprise!
Really looking forward to listening to 1, 3, & 5 thanks again!
