The movie soundtrack is and will always be my favorite soundtrack. I like it much more then the ova. I complain that the movie has teh same tunes that ae on the ova, but those same tunes look infinite better in , let say, Movie Version of them. Kim Kaphwan theme track is so much better in the movie.
In my opinion the OVAs are bad. I did not like any of them. If you see it better, it is all bad directed. The second ova is so damn annoying. Like I am seeing Shinji Ikari featuring Terry Bogard with his exsitencial issues like in evangelion. And spend almost all ova seeing like, so damn depressing. As fan I hated it both.
Movie serves so much more and better for a fan. 🙂

Actually I haven’t seen the film XD I look forward to do so, though. But I really loved the second OVA, I found more complex and awesome to Wolfgang Krauser than Geese Howard, and I really liked the theme of Krauser, so epic and classy! 😀 Actually you’re right, I didn’t like Terry turned his Shinji Ikari-like mode on after getting his @$$ kicked by Krauser; I think the real Terry Bogard would have ran away from everyone, but without getting so depressed, and he would have kicked lots of @$$E$ until he was ok and then he would have kicked Krauser’s @$$ so hard that he wouldn’t be able to sit down for the rest of his life xD

Masami Obari, CAN be a good Director, Screenwriter, Producer … when he wants. Both OVA are badly directed. I can’t forget that thing in what they made us believe were going tohave a fight between Joe and Terry in the bar. We are having a great build up for it, and environmental speaking also, but when the cops came "oh noes!! Cops!!! RUUUUN!!!" 0.o what the F-word-? It does not make sense in any way.
The movie you should see. We have new villains, and what I like the most is their attacks. They are Fatal Fury attacks kind of thing. :p
And I loved the last battle. *.*

Indeed, I also disliked that in the first OVA they invited a real martial artist from your country to be the seiyuu of Joe Higashi, also, the whole King of Fighters tournaments was stupid and pointless, the only good thing of that OVA was Lily, whose seiyuu, Inoue Kikuko, made an excellent work and I think we all liked the character thanks to that.
