Having grown up on this comic book, knowing the Steve Ditko/Stan Lee collaboration isn’t more than 8 pages long when concerned with the origin story, I was greatly surprised by its elaboration and subsequent inclusion into a full blown adventure story. The quality of the script is matched by the quality of the animation. The character design, the stylized shadows, the excellent voice actors- especially Bryce Johnson who plays the good doctor (later spotted on a Gilmore Girls episode and much to my surprise he’s just a kid)- and this terrific soundtrack!
