But seriously I find it lame to have that film in 3D yet it will be in black and white? From the trailer i saw on theater unless it’s that gory and gruesome that needs to be B&W otherwise i wouldn’t spend a dime to see it on cinema house. HBO is my friend. there.

What’s the matter with you? The brickwall lowpass is at 20,000hz which is usual behaviour for any sensible encoder. Filtering goes on above 16,000hz in some passages which is also usual behaviour. High frequencies are a) inaudible to humans and b) very difficult to encode accurately; common sense encoders therefore filter them out and donate the saved bitrate to audible content. At all bitrates. Even at silly settings like 320kbps. (Dear world – USE -V0!!!!!!!!!!)

Please stop judging audio by looking at spectrographs and instead listening to it with your ears.

That said, OP – why do you say in your first thread "I don’t have FLAC" but then later imply that you ripped this CD yourself? If you have the CD, you have FLAC. If this is a download you found somewhere else that’s not a problem but say so – don’t suggest this is your rip if it isn’t.

The piercing pilot tone at 16,000hz… now THAT is unforgivable. (And NOT the fault of the original poster or anybody else here; blame that one on the studio engineer.)

Well, you’ll need to read well my posts because I never said I ripped myself, I said that this share was ripped directly from CD because the friend who gave me said it so and I trust him. Enjoy the music…

Elfman is brilliant. Saw the Chicago Symphony perform works of his from Tim Burton films this past Tuesday night. Absolutely incredible. So moving.
