Can you recommend me some action-type tunes without heavy percussion?

I’m looking for soundtracks similar to David Arnold’s Stargate/Independence Day. Big robust sounding orchestra, but much less "percussive-heavy" like the scores you hear these days from Remote Control.

Trying to find stuff similar to Judge Dredd, Desplat’s Golden Compass, John Debney’s Lair, How to Train Your Dragon, etc etc. Of course, some percussive elements can be included, but mainly just traditional orchestra percussion (timp, snare, cymbals). No big underbeds of percussion loops. No electronics mixed in either.

Sadly, I feel like I’ve scoured everywhere, and can’t find any new material!
