I’ve been re-watching the series (for the 8th time) and love every cheesy, poignant, and literary scene in the series. From the actors, to the SF/X artist, to the man, JMS himself, you can see the love that went into the show and the dedication to the story over the flash and bang of so much Sci-Fi (and most shows in general). And to hear Franke’s own storytelling through his music, which he composed for each and every episode (which has rarely ever been done for a show), gives the series so much more. The epicness of his music, and JMS’s narrative is sorely missed.
