Very Very Good Song. Adele into legend with this beautiful song. She joined Shirley Basset, Tina Turner, Sheril Crow, A-ah, Eric Serra, Duran Duran, Paul Mc Cartney and all the others. This piece really went the most successful. I look forward to this new Bond. And of course, the OST. Thank You very Much.

I’m already tired of this song. It’s surely fine in the opening credits but as a standalone and on the radio it’s boring after a few plays already.

I think it’s just as bad as the ‘Quantum of Solace’ theme – tuneless for the most part and quite unmemorable. I also have a feeling a lot of people are going to be disappointed when the film comes out as from what I’ve seen of it, it’ll be another action for action’s sake flic with precious little story behind it. The magic that made these films such a success has long since gone and we’ve had more turkeys than prize stallions lately as a result.

Yes, agree with this. The magic has certainly gone. There was an sardonic wink in the old films, probably ending after a View to a KIll, There was a great romantic base to them, often created by John Barrys gorgeous music, but the new films have none of the humour, none of the wit and none of the large set pieces that the old bond films had. Where the hell are the memorable villains? Where’s Scaramanga, or Max Zorin, Or Dr Drax? Gone. Now we have dull, boring villains with no imagination. No big chases. Blame post modernism, social media or MTV? I dont know, but imagination and fun has gone from all films now. Did anyone see the remake of Total Recall for example? That film had none of the insight, none of the humour and none of the imagination of the original.

I digress…adele….a tobacco roasted voice from a fat woman? Wheres the bondness in that?

Small comment : pretty disappointed about this song too. One of the worst from the series. Without any charm, class or part of mystery…

I stand corrected! I saw the film the weekend of its release and dare I say it, I totally loved it! It’s very different from a lot of what’s gone on before, which isn’t a bad thing considering a lot of the Bonds were getting too much like a travel show/holiday programme, with him stuck in the middle somewhere!

Dismount from Adele already! Trust that the filmmakers made the right decision to use this song in the movie. There’s not a thing wrong with this song or the one from Quantum of Solace! I thought I posted negative comments and then I check in here and some of you needlessly complain about a song that is presented out of context from a movie that isn’t releaseed and begin predicting how bad you think the movie is going to be. I think The Hobbit movies are going to SUCK…but until they come out and I’ve had a chance to see the final presentation(s) I just have to keep my opinion to myself. And what the fuck is this shit about fat singers not being ‘Bond-like’. That is from a pretty small mind!
