This is a wonderful animated film. Really creative design went into its making. It has a 1930s feel with characters so original in their child-like concept. The music is terrific and unique. Simply NO MAIN theme. (Goldsmith would have a fit) Just continual wonderful scoring of each sequence without relying on repeating the same ditty over and over again. I’m reminded of some of Victor Young’s work. He would use a main theme for his films, but also created whole new passages of work that applied to the visuals. Note: The Uninvited.
Highly recommended music (I own it) and film (I own it). A great adventure with some absolutely diabolical villains.
