Edit: To clarify for those interested: MP3 (as CaptainTwan mentioned) in 128, 160, 192, 256, 320 and some VBR. All tracks on the 5 discs has a total of 139 mb.

You misspelled my name. I’ve never seen you before in my life. Why did you upload some of my edits without my permission? I wish you could remove my stuff from your files as soon as you can. Here, I got excited that there might be some stuff in here that I don’t have yet, but as soon as I saw my own name at the bottom, all my hope disappeared.

I am also not going to like it if you’ve included my edits but you’ve renamed them. Why would they need to be renamed? My names worked perfectly well for them.

And if they have SFX, technically they are not unreleased in the same sense that music without SFX is unreleased. If they’ve got SFX in them, that means anyone who owns the DVD could get the music off of them.

Was it difficult to put it in any sort of chronological order?

I’m sorry, and here I am apologizing to you before all the haters come along to criticize all my criticisms. I just get really anal about my Pirates rips and when other people use and re-manipulate them. No doubt, your collection has some odds and ends, but to a Pirates master like myself, it is a rather amateur collection of music, what with re-edited tracks, renamed tracks, tracks encoded improperly, tracks ripped from YouTube, tracks in no particular order….To someone at my level, this is not a very good collection of music–but that isn’t to say that someone else would not greatly appreciate your efforts.

Leave your link up, or rather: all I ask is that you remove my edits from your collection. Leave the rest up. And if anyone else cares to know, I am about finished with a breakdown of everything you’ll hear in this collection.

Okay, agree, once again sorry! I just made this album because some people don’t know the website music of Zanelli and some people do not even know what unreleased cues are.., so it was my idea to make this album and some people from YouTube gived me some cues. The only cues i used from your bootlegs are: Cuttlefish and Calyspo, can i just let them on the album , or do you want that i delete them?

That’s really weird that you would say Cuttlefish and Calypso came from my rip considering Cuttlefish could have been found on Takeshi’s rip (and I know it’s the version from his rip, because mine doesn’t have the extra silence at the end) and Calypso just came from Geoff Zanelli’s website. It isn’t even the full cue. I did hear a lot of my rips in some of your other stuff from PotC2 and PotC3, possibly blended with the rips of other people.

No, I did not ever upload an edit of Pirates 1. All I’ve ever posted here is my full DVD rip of Pirates 2, my original rip of Pirates 3, and a revised edit that combines my previous edits with the new material found on Takeshi’s bootleg. Also, I know for a fact that at least one person had uploaded my edits from those films on his YouTube page, renamed them, and even split some of them into shorter tracks.

05 – some kind of bizarre rip of "Jones and Jack Duel" from my revised edit, except chunks

of music are cut out of the right channel in three spots, the track was encoded in the wrong

sample rate (and therefor plays at the wrong speed), and there are four and half minutes of

extra silence at the end of the track
06 – Calypso (as heard on Geoff Zanelli’s mix of the track)
07 – "Lift-Off" (from Geoff Zanelli’s site) or "Part of the Ship, Part of the Crew" (from

Takeshi’s bootleg)
08 – way overamplified rip of the end credits (renamed from "Drink Up Me Hearties" followed

by the film version of the "Hoist the Colours Suite")

PotC4:
01 – bizarre edit of "Jack’s Escape" from Geoff Zanelli’s site, it’s only the first 45

second, has a mono intro, mono outro and was encoded at the wrong sample rate so it plays at

the wrong speed
02 – confused on this one, especially the label given to it. I guess it’s the demo and OST

versions of the track overlaid into one track. Also, parts of it sound like the came from a

YouTube rip of a DVD rip
03 – Mermaid Attack (renamed from Geoff Zanelli’s site)
04 – wrong pitch (wrong speed?) DVD rip (rear channels, only) of the beginning of what is

named "Make Way For Tortuga" on the demos
05 – British Attack (renamed from Geoff Zanelli’s site)
06 – Spanish Arrive (not renamed but is from Geoff Zanelli’s site. Apparently, it’s the no

SFX film version)
07 – Water Drop (from Geoff Zanelli’s site)
08 – The Fountain of Youth (renamed from Geoff Zanelli’s site. the label baffles me)
09 – extremely overamplified rip of the End Credits
10 – For f*ck’s sake! This isn’t the film version of the epilogue! This is an alternate

02 – mono track. sounds like music that is both Pirates music and an imitation of Pirates

03 – I guess it is music from one of the video games. This is the first decent track on this

set (VG)
04 – sounds like what it is: a piano arrangement of Geoff Zanelli’s "Jack’s Escape" (PotC4)
05 – the extended version of "Just Good Business" as found of Lorne Balfe’s site (originally

named "Beckett") (PotC3)
06 – I guess it is music from one of the video games. I like this one also (VG)
07 – Another one from the PotC3 video game (PotC3)
08 – mix of first an edit of "The Curse" from Geoff Zanelli’s site, then OST material, then

an edit of "Pirates, Day One, 4:56AM (Demo)" from Takeshi’s bootleg, then "He’s A Pirate"

I do not mean poisonheadcrab. I mean TwoAndAHalfMenFreak7 who stole my edits, renamed them and split them into smaller bits. Those YouTube users just drive me crazy: knowing nothing of quality, making edits of edits of edits, continually recycling the same bits of music over and over until their quality is on par with making ears bleed….I guess I am just above them all and I should not dwell on any of this. Some people know how to do things the right way and some don’t. I guess it’s all a matter of perspective.

You seem confused about where you got all your stuff and what actually you have and I’ve explained it all too many times to too many people to be moved to go through it all yet again. I will just leave you be. Good day.

Oh okay, so i just have to delete ALL the tracks or what? I don’t get it.. Some people helped me with this album, people who made the tracks and give it to me.. But why you are so mad about it, we just made this album because we want that people know about this wonderful music! So what is your problem with it? There are no samples/cues of you in this album, i just was confused, that’s all

I’m not mad; I just sound mad because, as a few people have told me, I am a wordsmith and I have ways of saying really strong, powerful things in only a few words. Here, you are now saying that there are no samples that belong to me in this collection, yet you credited me in your first post. Why would you do that, if none of my work appears in this collection?

I know that there are a lot of people that would be quite satisfied with your collection here, but for those others who are where I am, I thought I’d point out to them what is included in this set so they know whether it is worth downloading or not. That’s why I have included the breakdown of what is in this set of music. To me, the presentation of this collection leaves much to be desired, but that is not the case for everybody. Leave your upload how it is, and as I said already: good day.

Di, this is just MY opinion, but once you put an edit up, it is no longer "yours". Anything posted openly here will be endlessly recycled through the IE. You know that.

And Captain, He did a breakdown because there are so many boots out there, many people will want to know what exactly this is before downloading it. Not everyone has a fast or unlimited connection.
