A really awesome score. Very often Intrada releases scores in that collection that I (like probably many of us) have been waiting for a long time – and then there are those scores (like this one) that I knew nothing about in advance – and they are always great surprises.
It was also nice of mr.garibaldi to point out Jerome Moross as a composer. I liked "The Big Country" and "The War Lord" but somehow never put those things together in my mind and remembered him as a composer. Now I do.
Any other Moross recomendations?

Very little material exists from Mr. Moross, Big Country, Proud Rebel are a couple, also The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn (1960) is another good one.

Thanks so much – no one captures the western ‘Americana’ flavor like Moross! And if you like Broadway musicals – check out his "Golden Apple" – a beautiful score telling the story of the Trojan War but updated to the Spanish-American War.

Thank you so much,Sir,as IMHO movie scores don’t come much better than this Moross masterpiece. In reality this probably was what was considered a "B" movie at the time but Moross poured his heart and soul into this movie score. I believe this one is in the top 100 of all time great movie scores.

@KWB you make some great points in regards to this score, I hadn’t listened to this in awhile and upon re-uploading I re-visited this soundtrack again and I must admit it’s a tremendous listen.
