season 1 &2
And reprise buy J.J. Johnson from 1975-1978, 26 episodes, season 3, 4 and 5.
Cant find any records of that.
I do have a 2 cd set that is **shudder** a straight out audio rip, fx dialogue and all, but you can still get a feel of the score. Folks who know how much I loathe fx will know how much I must love this score in order to keep this……..
Not same tune but it is in the genre.

I have made my own set of edited rips from $6Million. I have pieced together bits from various episodes to eliminate the bulk of the SFX.
Clean highlights include the $7 Million "It’s Wild" track, Broken Fork, and the fight on the beach from "ESP Spy", with all breaking surfboards removed.
Not perfect, but very cool. Not sure how you guys are posting stuff. I would need a little educating. Perhaps someone can PM me.
Me too!!! And, yours too!!!
Edited in wav in Audacity and exported at mp3 320
Quite a lot of nice covers, particularly by user Stiks 1969. Aside from Austin, He did like 4 tracks for The Bionic Woman that are NOT score by Joe Harnell. I also adore the tribute track The Final Battle, and of course the fx and Narration free cover of the main title…

Well, ok. I appreciate ANY upload of this. However, I will be frank. (Since not doing so would be counter-productive, and I men this as an objective commentary. BUT, you did not get the"bulk" of the fx. You got nearly none of the fx. None of the tracks are anywhere near "clean", most are almost straight audio from the show.
Now, I myself do not have ANY idea how to edit or clean audio, so I offer no criticism on technique, and can only comment on what is heard in the final result. That said, I did keep about a dozen tracks despite fx, since i love this music so much.
Battle in the Snow is especially groovy, since while the fx and grunts, groans and yelps are still there only minus any visual context, it is hard to tell if they are fighting or fucking. :awsm:
Yes, interested!!!!

Wow, that’s harsh! (not frank)
Give the related episodes a re-watch to see just how much EVERY track gets interrupted by bionic punches, so you can appreciate the cut-n-paste work to assemble relatively clean tracks.
I mean, the "It’s Wild" with maybe only 1 punch left in.
"Fight on the Beach", with ALL surfboard breaking and that whiny girl completely removed.
"Steve Austin Fugitive" without "Austin STOP!!" and bullets, et al.
I thought you, of all people would appreciate.
Even "Broken Fork" is assembled from multiple episodes, nearly eliminating the flat tire on the jeep…only the hissing sound remains.
The one bad standout, "Groovy Escape Toon" from "Midas Touch", still has the alert sirens, as there was no way to eliminate, but I still love the 2 part harmony in that one.
Getting them to that point was a good 3 months of editing work. I did not claim to have access to the source material, just the DVDs.
Sheesh!
Some of the quotes are a playful part of the song to me, and left in purposefully. "Alright you asked for it" "Well, at least now you’re in the top two." "It’s Wild Steve, It’s Wild!!"
Those simply had to stay. Steve and Oscar laughing at the episode endings is endearing and enjoyable.
Some things that HAVE been cleaned you cannot appreciate without having previously listened heavily to the uncut tracks are the way I reduce any bolts breaking and cracking.
The "Peeping Blonde", a classic all-time track, used to prominently feature ear-splitting bolt breaking, which is now greatly reduced, by compressing individual waveforms in the track, making it possible to play loudly without blowing your speakers.
The fight with George Foreman was loaded with "Batman" style POWS and BAMS. I was able to cut all but one of those. My editing capabilities extend only to cutting, muting, and blending.
This is my fourth generation of this music. First gen was taped directly off the TV onto cassette. Second gen was from cable, edited only on analog equipment. Third gen was from the British PAL format DVD’s.
I have come a long way with this. I cannot believe you have ever heard anything close to comparable to these edits. Can you or anyone else here post anything better?
I really wanted to seed the board so that other closet editors could put up alternate versions.
Here are some highlights from my Nelson collection, closest in spirit to $6million:

Which DVD release of 6MDM did you acquire? There was an old release and a recent one by Time-Life (http://timelife.com/products/the-six-million-dollar-man-the-complete-collection).

So 19 episodes, 6 of which are the movies. I also have the first tv movie as a serparate uncut version, apart from this set. I can get the other seasons too, but I’ll need more space first.
1 Parachuting In/Desert Run/Sneaking Into Camp: Only a minor bit of wind fx, faint, in the sneaking bit. The Piece runs from when Steve parachutes into the desert through his run and into the terrorist camp..
2 Resolution/End Credits: fx free. From the pan in to a sleeping Steve through the end credits.
