Looking for music similar to Joe Hisashi (Studio Ghibli)

I am a huge fan of Joe Hisashi’s music. I realize that he is quite well known, but I was wondering if there are other artists/composers of similar quality.

I do also very much like the Final Fantasy stuff from Nobuo Uematsu. I have a couple other albums like the Jin-Roh album. But Hisashi and Uematsu is the majority of my Anime soundtrack collection.

Other than Ys, there are some other Yuzo Koshiro soundtracks that have a definite Hishaishi influence. The game "Shenmue" is a very notable example. The tracks "Rain" and "The Sadness I Carry On my Shoulders" I think you’ll love.
