There is no episode titled "Sky High" and McKenzie only scored one episode.

In fact, I see nothing titled that in his filmography. Maybe you’ve mislabled score from the 2005 scored by Giacchino.

I did not mislabel, as i have said before I only present the archives as given to me. I have only seen 2 episodes of Enterprise, so I ma not familiar with the music or episodes at all. Whoever originally posted the suites is the one to ask. I got them off of Izbot’s Trek thread on Bolt. I see no track on my trek 11 set labeled sky high.

Aside from Emissary and Caretaker, and the tracks on the Best of albums, I have never seen pure score for either series. There is a "complete score project" by the same person who did the TOS sets, well done dvd rips. But I have never encountered true DS9 or Voyager promos.

I think I have somewhere the "Horizon" individule cues. When McKenzie originally posted that suite online, he got into trouble and had to take it down, but later he put up individule cues which contain the same content, plus some small bits not in the suite. These cues, last I checked, were long since removed from his site.

And at 256k too. I would not know what to relabel sky high aS, since every source that has the suite lists the same show and composer. It is not 2009 trek, so what wqould I call it? It is enterprise and McKenzie until anyone can shed light on the origin.

Frankly, I’m not very familiar with DS9 music (having seen most of the DS9 episodes just once), but as far as I remember, they had some really great scores (mostly by composers other than McCarthy, who really was starting to get boring after a while!). There were three composers I felt wrote terrific music on DS9: Jay Chattaway (59 episodes) and especially David Bell (24 episodes) and Paul Baillargeon (9 episodes)! Let’s hope they will be featured on the new DS9 release!

Well, the initial idea was multiple volume,s that’s why TNG was Volume 1 — there was going to be a second TNG set, same for the other Trek shows, but because of poor sales of it (keep that in mind when you skip buying it and rather download it, some of you), that’s been reconsidered and since then while no word has come down (that I’ve seen) on no more volumes, we certainly haven’t gotten a Volume 2.

TNG first.
D.S.9. second.
And MV Gerhard stated he intends to do Enterprise next, doing Voyager last (apparently he’s not as fond of that show’s scoring).

I’m guessing by the end of the year we’ll see "Enterprise" [Volume 1].

Here’s a complete set of covers for the Bootleg Enterprise score CD’s. I have also made one up for Broken Bow in case you want them to all match. For the Suites and Extras, I’ve also included the extra cues that are not available on this thread, they are on 56kbs, but you may like those as well. Hope you like them.

Those in this thread are custom covers by Pearlcondorman. I believe he also did back covers. Your best bet for that is to pm him. My sets here have been rearranged from the archive as originally downloaded, and his covers reflect that.

Hello. I stumbled across this while looking for CD covers for my itunes Enterprise files. They are quite excellent, and I am sorry that someone’s been copying your work. I’ve had that happen several times myself, but by then, the work was pretty much available to everyone, and the damage was done.

At least be confident that you have the best versions of these covers, and that they are truly remarkable.

I did ask on the Star Trek Repository thread, but it seems that thread was deleted outright after I had made the request for some strange reason (if it was the Varese material then I would have thought it would have been more logical to simply edit it out than nuke the thread, but I’m not an admin so that’s not my call to make)
