HORROR! 1996 Silva Screen Records America
Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kenneth Alwyn

When a child, and first seeing THE HAUNTING on TV, I always wanted the music by Humphrey Searle. This, most likely, is the closest I will ever get. Along with Night of the Demon and The Abominable Snowman this was a MUST BUY in its day. I wrote to the label with great thanks, and requested extended versions. No one wrote back. Later read this was a difficult sell to the label; scores (even though just Main Titles) from long forgotten films- thus lucky this much was accomplished.

Scans of booklet included.

PM me ever so gently, of course. Tell me you are worthy.
