After nearly a year of having the music’s source files sitting on my second HDD, I finally got the drive to seperate, convert and tag all 313 (yes, 313!) tracks of all 5 Vampire (Darkstalkers) games from Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection. It was a long, tedious process, I must’ve visited vgmdb and Galbadia Hotel a thousand times over the past 2 weeks trying to piece everything together! haha

I tagged all files to match official soundtrack names and ordered the tracks in the same (or similar) fashion. All tracks that loop have been looped twice with a 5 second fade delay into 10 second fade, which makes for near-identical track times to the official soundtracks but overall, sound much more consistent. Also, I broke all 5 game soundtracks up into their own individual folders as opposed to all jumbled up in one folder for easier navigation.

Concerning Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampires, I added in a "third disc" worth of tracks, which includes Vampire Chronicles exclusive tracks (also found on Chaos Tower), a few extra character win/ending themes, and Lilith’s Gloomy Puppet Show tunes (as they were part of the official soundtrack as well). Although it may not make sense to include those, the source files had them bundled in as Vampire Savior tracks and not under Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2. Also added to the first disc was the "JEDAH Appears" theme, which is the tune that plays as Jedah floats down during his boss intro.

Vampire Hunter 2 and Vampire Savior 2 were both just updated versions of Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire with some changes. As far as the soundtracks go, they both re-use most of the tracks heard in previous incarnations of the series but there are a few exclusive to them both (such as REVENGER’S ROOST, alternate player select themes, new ending themes, etc.). Regardless, I left every track in for completion purposes and set the track order to "mirror" the official soundtracks of both Vampire Hunter and Vampire Savior respectively.

You’ll probably be better off with these rips and ditching the ogg’s. All exclusive music in Chaos Tower was also in Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection’s data (in lossless) and I’ve ripped and tagged those as well. PSP audio formats usually tend to be compressed/really lossy , most often at subpar bitrates (around the 120-140kbps range) so converting them ends up in an even lossier end result.

I don’t know why you complained. 7 years later, and all the original uploads still work for me. Each downloaded in about 5-10 seconds, as well. The Mega mirror, on the other hand, was taken down.

Anyway, thanks a lot, jizames! I woke up with Darkstalkers on my mind for some reason, and it was great to see the soundtracks readily available.
