thanks again
thank you for this..
Send me a better one 😛
Many thanks for sharing.
😀 Well played!
On a similar note, I’m not one that gets overly anal about the name of an upload either (I swear some folks aren’t aware they can change it to whatever their heart desires) but this looks like the complete score. Did Silvestri prepare the complete score as the promo disc, or did you just recieve it/name it that way? Just curious… thanks again!

It was labeled as a promo with a Paramount logo on the front artwork when I bought it on eBay, but I know this looks more like a bootleg. Well, I’ll call it recording sessions then from now on 🙂
Many thanks for sharing.
-agreed, i just finished listening and i like this more than the official release with fewer scores.
you rock FunnyML 😀
Just let me know, when you stumble across cuesheets / unreleased scores 😉
Thanks 🙂

Family Guy – Stewie "Say WHAAAT?" (HD) – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqyixwqiCag)
On a side note, there’s at least one track missing from this release (the first scene of the movie, the "prologue"). Luckily, it can be found on the regular album — track 1.

There should be several sites that will sell the track in WAV/MP3.
The full album of "London Bus Stop"/"Bus Stop" should have two versions, one is a radio edit (same as heard on the movie) and one is a dance remix
The album version is the same version as found on the CD-single, the GI Joe movie, and also found on the "Someone Like You… (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0244970/soundtrack)" soundtrack.
There’s a CD Maxi Single with the Radio edit, the remix and an instrumental version.
1 is for sale on discogs @29.99.
And then there’s a couple vinyl promos as well.
Juno Downloads, I think is where I bought mine.
If it’s the first scene of the movie, it’s 1M1 and that cue is included.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s incomplete, though.
Apparantly, Silvestri didn’t return for the sequel. It was scored by Henry Jackman, I believe…
Thanks for this amazing share!
Thanks!

And i thought Zimmer was doing Superman not Silvestri?
what? well that’s absurd.with his connection with nolan having ties with the MOS film there’s not a room for such confusion, zimmer will definitely score Superman. you probably read it wrong on drunkenmonkeys post, he’s definitely not alluding the film score to silvestri’s with the 2 films he mentioned.
However, I’m lost on your "connection" between Nolan/Zimmer = Supes/Zimmer though? Both Batman and Superman are DC properties, yes. That’s about all the connection I see that matters though!

there’s really a need to mention both characters coming from the same company? unless one is living on some remote areas without any access to any forms of media or is somehow secluded from the outside world then they would know they’re both from the same comic book company (it’s a bit of exaggeration but regardless it would be the general consensus imo,) and that’s a given. Nolan and his brother will be writing the story of the upcoming reboot of Superman, and Zimmer having been the composer of the batman trilogy and makes him their favorite, although it’s snyder directing the film it would even makes better sense that since the creative direction will be handled by Nolan then you have zimmer at the helm for the score department. Now wouldn’t that matter?!
Nolan is producing Man of Steel and has apparently a sort of "creative consultant" position in the movie. Hence the nomination of Hans Zimmer being totally NOT unexpected.
thanks for adding that info, i forgot to mention that…

I think the first cue from this promo release is mislabeled. The first scene and corresponding track (what should be 1M1) in the film is this one: Clan McCullen – Alan Silvestri – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwL72NyzYyI)
I don’t think this track (titled "Clan McCullen") can be found anywhere on the promo release.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up guys… that’s what I was missing. I wasn’t aware that Nolan was in any way involved with MoS.
The track titles and slate numbers are mostly wrong, as many of the tracks are out of order. The opening of the film is not on this release, and what’s labeled here as "Opening 1M1" is actually the third cue of the film. So, in film order, the track list should really fall like this —
1. Clan McCullen – the real opening, from the OST only
2. MARS [1M6]
3. Opening [1M1] – probably should renamed “Transport”
4. The Skies Are Clear [1M8]
5. Day To Night Transition [1M9]
6. Green Glow (Part B) [1M11] – this release is just an alternate and not exactly what is heard in the film
7. Green Glow (Part A) [1M10]
8. General Hawk [1M13]
9. Portis
That’s as far as I’ve made it; I don’t really have the time to go through the whole film right now, but it should give you an idea of what’s going on here.
I should also mention there’s at least one more cue missing entirely – it would fall between “Skies Are Clear” and “Day To Night Transition.”
Still – an amazing promo release!
Thank you
I got the film now and will compare it to my version when I have time. Will fix the stuff hollistergurl mentioned and whatever gets my attention.
@hollistergurl
If you find more stuff that’s wrong, please drop me a line. Appreciate your help so far.
Will keep you guys updated on the status.

Thank you. I hope my name is on that list for pm.
Cues have now been named and reordered properly (see first post for details).
At least that’s what I hope. I won’t go through the pain watching this movie again, that’s for sure. The music is superb, but awfully tracked in lots of the scenes.
The new file is currently being uploaded and will be sent to the people in my list that requested a re-up, as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance 🙂
Happy new year!!!
thanks.
Thanks!
