Here is the rare limited edition release of "The Raven" (1963) with "An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe" (1970). The music was composed by the great Les Baxter. Vincent Price, Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff starred in the 1963 film version of Poe’s iconic tale. Price also offered his talents to the 1970 hour long television program "An Evening" on which he acted out/narrated several Poe stories. Baxter provided the music for all. Fans of Les Baxter will probably be interested in this one. The music is 320kbps. Album art, inserts (and a few extras) are included. Please enjoy "The Raven" and "An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe". Cheers!

Thanks for this one. I’ve got an old vinyl of the TV suite (on a Citadel LP with Cry of the Banshee), but The Raven is an unexpected pleasure!

Les is more! Thank you for this share.

Before Jackie DeShannon, and later Kim Carnes, sang about Bette Davis Eyes there was An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe with Vincent Price and his eyes (his smile had something more than humor in it as well).
See him give a lesson in acting in the 1970 tv production (uploaded by Zombie Popcorn on August 10, 2009) at An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe – Starring Vincent Price – YouTube (http://youtu.be/ZzyYzK94UU4) .
