I had read years ago about the orchestra being played backwards and I always wondered how the concept could be pulled off and work. Needless to say, the score pulls it off and I’m sure it works in context of the film but as a separate listening experience it’s rather awkward and not something I would listen to often. It’s a fun little experiment from Mr. Kitay but the effect starts to wear off after a handful of tracks. For years, the album eluded me so thanks for finally getting this out there for us to listen to.
