Aargh!!!
I wait with bated breath…
I would also like to point out:
I think the people who keep posting on HZ saying that WB is releasing the complete score are complete idiots. Just because they haven’t denied releasing it, DOES NOT mean that they are releasing it.
For the record, I’m pretty sure there is one.
For the record, every film has a complete score. What the hell do you think is used in the film? If a complete score didn’t exist, there would be no score in the film
I know for a fact these sessions are already in people’s hands. But people like us won’t see them for years to come
Hopefully one day….
Hopefully one day….
You know, there ARE recording sessions….
But if you mean official CD releases, then I get you.
Hopefully one day….
Complete Scores are almost never released. I mean sure, you have La-La Land that release some but not a lot. The Sessions for Batman Begins are in The Dark Knight Trilogy Resources thread, as well as TDK.
Now as far as Batman Begins, the one listed on HZ.com is not complete. It’s missing several cues, but I’m pretty sure the one posted here has all of the cues. The End Credits should be on there, as well. And the End Credits for TDK are on the complete score also.
But if you mean official CD releases, then I get you.
Yeah. I meant official releases.
@DAKoftheOTA: LLL has released their fair share and are releasing more. I already have the sessions for Begins so I know it’s complete. And it’s great to have it for free. No complaints there. But official releases would obviously be better quality.
You said the end credits for TDK are on the complete score. You mean its on the 2 disc limited edition that was officially released?
I think the end credits for all three sound similar, if not the same.
HZ admitted to the Rises cd not having all the music from the films. He mentioned some iPod, iPhone and iPad app regarding music.
Has anyone here listened to the officially released Rises score? Is the music to the third trailer on there?

About your edit…I see a lot of track names repeated and some have the times noted in parenthesis. Any reason for this sort?
Complete scores…..I believe I saw an inception complete score posted here sometime ago. Not sure though. I suggest you check if you haven’t yet.

Complete scores…..I believe I saw an inception complete score posted here sometime ago. Not sure though. I suggest you check if you haven’t yet.
they are repeated because they are repeated in the movie.. .and the time in parenthesis is the part of the track that is used in the movie… i have seen the movie 6 times… seeing it for a 7th in a few hours
a buddy hooked me up with a bootleg.. shitty one… but good enough to hear audio… i worked like 3ish hours one day to compose my edit.. and still tweaking it here and there
if they would just release the full thing already
Wouldn’t expect an official release of the complete score just yet. I mean, the haven’t even released the full score on Begins yet. Not to mention how many years did it take till the fll scores to 1989 and Returns was finally released?
And regarding THE complete score, releasing it is what they should’ve done in the first place instead of making us get some other tracks off iTunes and elsewhere just to get cash off us.
Anyways, it’s gotta be released someday. At least till then, we have recording session and such.
Iirc, there was a large debate on whether or not he actually worked for HZ.
He got banned in the process I think.
He sent me a small sample of an unreleased score back from the 80’s.
I’m not so much into Zimmer’s older scores, so it wasn’t that big of a deal to me.
Is this a recording or what?
If its a recording.. Pretty damn good
If its official.. That means someone has the complete score then?

I personally never heard of HZ till Begins and his scores on Begins & TDK (along with JHN), Rises and Inception are his best work to date.
While I understand JHN declining to involve himself in Rises due to the thought of being the "third wheel", I felt Rises would have better if he was present to score it alongside HZ. But that’s my opinion. And not taking away from HZ cause his work on Rises was great on his own.

Somehow, I doubt that the complete score would present the end credits in mono and in a fashion that seems to indicate the audio was recorded through computer speakers. It’s likely just a computer mic recording from a bootleg of the film being played out of said computer’s speakers.
Also, if you think about it, how many times does the complete score actually contain the end credits? It seems like a majority of the time, to me, the end credits are just a suite of music heard earlier throughout the film. It’s the times that the credits contain original score heard nowhere else that they are more likely to be included in the full score or sessions.
And seriously, of course someone has the complete score. Someone somewhere in the world has the complete score to nearly any film in existence. Chill out. The full score could appear around here within the next month or it might not show for another five years. No amount of constantly posting in this particular thread is going to bring this score to the surface in faster.

it helps past the time
True. And sometimes, things get released sooner due to popular demand so perhaps hope of an official release will become a reality earlier than anyone expects. Then again, that hasn’t been the case with Begins, T2, and others. And in saying that, time can be passed in may other ways. Some better. Some not better. I’ve always been of the belief that as long as you’re not harming yourself or anyone else, you’re free to do what you want. And I see no harm here yet so….
I have seen the movies 7 times in theaters.. It helps.. But also makes me want the full score even more lol

Do I need to put a shock collar on you? Down, boy.
What the hell does this mean?
It’s funny, a friend of mine on facebook was saying earlier how stupid and uneducated people are in the way they word things and how they speak

Dude, you should know this by now. That’s just how he talks. He can’t control himself. It’s like he spazzes out and his fingers get stuck on his keyboard.
I know, I just felt like pointing it out. I lovvzzzzzzzz doing it!!!!1! OmgGzzz1!
I’ve youtube’d the 3rd official trailer and put it in my iPod (as a video and as Apple Lossless music) at the highest possible quality in 1080p JUST for the music. dialogue and certain shots shown in the trailer.
While I do wanna see it again, I’m gonna hold out for the bluray that way I can buy it and watch it as many times as I want for free. I just hope there are worthy extras as Begins had a few good ones with The Dark Knight didn’t really have too many. I hope some of the features include the 3rd official trailer.

converting the 1080p to apple lossless doesn’t really do anything.. you will only get the quality that’s on the video

Why not link to the upload that’s been here at the FFS since late last year?
Is this complete CD fake or real ? If it’s real, it means that lossless version which I and many score fans have been wanting exists… So will we still have any chance to get lossless version ?
I’m seeing TDK 2-disc Collector’s Edition, Fast/Furious 6, Major League, Days of Thunder and Quantum of Solace

This one, FLAC version. I have…
Can you tell which model scissors were used to cut out the inlay card?
I do not know what you mean? Sorry I cannot answer your question. I not PRO in audio stuff.
Note:
I download from other website. At least not from here.
REAL or FAKE. I also dunno.
So you think that flac/lossless version of TDKR complete score doesn’t exists ? Or Even if such complete CD exists , you consider it as fake flac version ?
Here is my version

I have heard Adobe Audition or similar softwares can show sound waveform and check that.
Or have you ever checked the difference of sounds between fake flac and real flac by using headphone or speakers ? I have ever tried that several times. And i found Fake flac sounds like mp3…[COLOR="Silver"]

I really want The dark Knight rises complete score in Flac/Lossless…(*Д`)ノ because wanna listen to it in high quality sounds with my speakers…
I disagree. I was hoping for something as fresh as the first two films and all I got was The Dark Knight 2. The score was way too loud in several scenes and had hardly anything new or exciting to offer, just rehashing old material. Half the time it didn’t even fit what was happening on screen. None of this is to say that I hate either film or score. They’re both okay, but nothing special and they get a little more credit than they deserve.
Can anyone tell me what is the complete score that was released on the shrine? The one I have seems to be complete enough, though not entirely sure.
I agree with amh1219, some of the music was plain absurd for the scenes that they were coupled with. I love some pieces from the score, and it is a generous listening experience outside the film, but in the film is another question altogether.
