Usually translated as "Woman Striking A Blow," the main character in this 1998 Japanese TV series is fired from her job and in desperation accepts work in a boxing gym where she eventually becomes the trainer for a man she intensely dislikes. Yet, over time…
For this drama/romance, Oshima provided a another eclectic score with tender ballads, some jaunty Gershwin-esque tracks, even a bossa nova. Nothing harsh or heavy.

Quick skimming through it made it seem like having Nabari no Ou, FMA 03, (a weaker godzilla-like one?) and a lot of other types in a nutshell. Very nice versatile mix.
Especial track 1 reminds me a lot of Nabari. Track 6 is sort of like a sister track to "Raimei kuru".
Track 8 sounds somewhat FMA-ish.
And I was even thinking the Oshima Thread were dying, thanks for digging it up with such a nice Update. 😀
The EXACT files I downloaded from YEPSA, re-uploaded to MediaFire. I’ll also post this link in the Michiru Oshima Discography thread since Ted asked for this :’D
EDIT: Yepsa’s link works again!
