WOOT! Love these games and their soundtracks. To the point that I have savegames that exist for the sole purpose of being loaded so I can listen to the music therein. Thank you for this! And also thank you for that Quick And Easy Software link; gonna grab me some of that as well. 😀

What do you mean by "edited a bit"? Are they altered in some way?

No. 🙂 It’s just that most songs from the first game had double duration, because the music was repeated, so I removed the repeat in order not to sound boring. Also, some songs from the second game where together in the same song, eg "Call me the Bone Master" and Phatt Island were together, so I clipped them in different songs. I used Audacity to edit them, and I’m not an expert in sound editing, but I believe I did a good job ;). They weren’t altered in other way.

How do you unzip the Monkey Island 2 soundtrack? When I remove 001 and 002 from the .zip files, they get corrupted when I try to unzip them. Thanks!

Edit: Never mind! I simply repaired the zip using WinRar, and it worked like a charm. Thanks, Lyan! I’ve been looking everywhere for these soundtracks in high quality.

Actually, you don’t have to remove the 001 and 002 from the files. Just select them both, right-click on them and choose extract. 🙂

Hi, some problems
-The 320 kbps pack of game 1 is missing Cue 2 00:19
-The ogg version of game 1 is missing Menu 01:07
-The flac version of game 1 contains the ogg version of Cue 2 00:19 rather than the flac version and it is labelled as track 20 not 21

Where did you get the song then if it wasnt in the official collection? Isnt this album the official collection?

The one I’m personally after is the 320 kbps mp3 of Cue 2. What I’m currently using was my own conversion of the Cue 2 ogg to MP3, though I’d prefer your official one
