I bought this score on cassette from a music shop right outside the theater screening the film… brand new into the dashboard tape deck for the drive home… deck mistakes tape for mid-day snack… hopelessly wound up, twisted and mangled about the play heads, I had to tear the tape just to get the cassette and its disemboweled innards out of the offending player. Misery… indeed. Now, every time I hear this score, I’m no longer transported back to Annie Wilkes’ cabin, I’m in my car with a crochet hook and tweezers, trying to salvage $10.78 from a damnably thin maw in my dashboard — and failing. Misery… indeed. Thanks for the share! If I still had that car, the throngs of foul-mouthed high-schoolers schmoozing by my house on their morning exodus to school would be watching me victory-dance on the hood of the auto, barefoot in the snow with both hands extending the finger I reserve for only the politest of conversations.

I was able to download and listen to this hard to find treasure. Thank you so much for uploading this, so guys like me can appreciate it. 🙂
