Truly one of the best scores ever and THE best and most heroic of comic book superhero scores.

This is an absolutely masterpiece!!!
Sadly this Rhino edition sounds often no so good…..the remastering isn’t perfect because some cues were damaged……but……anyway
The FSM edition rescues all the heavenly splendour of the huge orchestral mass. Perfect remastering. Williams is in heaven, now!!!!!

agreed. i grew up listening to this score and it’s this particular theme that got me interested in listening to film scores. among my favorites includes his scores for Superman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Hook, Jaws, Home Alone to name a few.

I love up until the helicopter scene and the superstunts. A little action, but mostly very diverse music. The farn sequenes are just beautiful, especially at Johnathan’s funeral, and Clark deciding to leave. Those big wide orchestral moments…..

this score and star wars empire strikes back are easily the two best musical scores of all time…this one is just breathtaking and so underrated that it makes me sick. i wish they would do an audiophile remastering like empire strikes back had, the superman the music collection was not a remastering, the tracks are still hazy and have some pops, direct vinyl rips to cd with no cleaning up what so ever

despite that, i still love it and its my favorite score and movie of all time.
