1941 – John Williams (LaserDisc Isolated Score) – MP3 @192

This is the *unofficial* score for John Williams’ 1979 Spielberg spoof war movie 1941.

There is an expanded edition that was released by LaLaLand last year but the version I put together (and as far as I know is totally unique) contains more tracks, as a score. The LLL version has 29 expanded tracks – mine has 35. I’m not sure about cut tracks/incorporated tracks but this version is from the Special Edition LaserDisc, the isolated track. I carefully ripped it, edited it all down and created 35 tracks. Here it is for those who would like an alternate score. The track titles differ as I based them on the parts of the movie they are from, some may be a little different to the LLL track titling.

I was really surprised the DVD never had an isolated track, I just took advantage of the fact it had it as an extra at the time, I know the LLL version will knock spots off this but I thought it’d be worth sharing regardless.

Only the Region 1 DVD though

Hmm odd … I have the region 1 version, it only appears to have 2 audio tracks, one says English and the other is Spanish according to the case!

The isolated soundtrack is not mentionned on the case. You have to go to the language menu on the disc to access it.
