Final Fantasy 10 Genesis.zip – 4shared.com – online file sharing and storage – download (http://www.4shared.com/zip/XBL3vyoV/Final_Fantasy_10_Genesis.html)

At last, we have here the soundtrack for what may be the last Final Fantasy ever produced for the SEGA Genesis: Final Fantasy X, one of the most popular in the series.

As per usual, all the same applies for this as it was for FF-Gen remixes I’ve posted in the past: high quality MP3, made from soundfont-applied MIDIs, soundtrack from the whole game, all properly named to some extent.

Heck, I even threw on a Genesis version of the Black Mages remix for Seymour’s Battle theme.

I don’t care about a ‘thank you’ or any sign of gratitude whatsoever. I upload for your convenience and ask for nothing in return.

I only use 4shared, and you need an account to download anything from there. Accounts are free and applying for one is a simple and easy process. So easy, in fact, that if I see one post, ONE POST, about "boo hoo y not mediafyer??" I will pretend that there is a ‘Dislike’ button next to your comment and click it in the slightest contempt.

I covered my request policy in my Final Fantasy IX Gen-mix thread, and I’m so self-important that I can’t be bothered to repost it. Just to not put anyone off, it’s not "no," it’s "maybe" and "under certain conditions more likely."

So that’s that. This’ll probably be the last in my FF-Gen remix series, but I might upload something else later. In the meantime, happy downloading. Or not, your choice.

NOTE: To whom it may concern, Final Fantasy 10 was originally a game for the PlayStation 2 home console, not the SEGA Genesis. The above description is a work of fiction designed as a subtle joke, the likes of which some find more confusing than anything else.

Yes, we know. This is a remake of the FFX soundtrack to sound as if it was originally scored on the Sega Genesis.

All I can say is thank you very much for keeping the 16-bit music alive. Doing FF music in SNES and Megadrive format is a passion of mine as well as mixing the music up, which is why I must commend your album:)

Thanks for the response, same here. I was actually inspired by Trapstar6139’s OST-to-Genesis stuff, so if you like this, it’s worth checking that out, too. Thanks again for the insightful response.

is it just me that gets a broken version of this every time i download it?
repairing as zip yields what seems like all files, with a complaint about 4-17 that seems to amount to nothing, as that track seems fine, and everything else seems fine as well…

What program are you using? I used ALZip to compress it, I wonder if that might be a problem.

Anyways, I’ll reupload that particular track when I can and add it to my original post.

i used winrar. it wasn’t a problem with your other archives, though
plus repairing as zip did work, dunno if this is any indication of anything.
but as long as noone else complains, let’s say all is fine

Alright, but there’s still a problem with 4-17, right?
