I admit, I’m interested in Transformers Fall of Cybertron, Aliens Colonial Marines, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Overstrike and Call of Duty Black Ops II (Maybe The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard… but the bugs/glitches of Skyrim have me apprehensive about this…).

Any games in the above list have anyone’s interest?

I don’t see Watch_Dogs :p

Edit: Nvm, saw it in the source. I’m looking forward to the majority of games listed, but I’m more interested in Assassin’s Creed 3, Watch_Dogs, and The Last of Us.

I had heard that it may have been a possibility to announce a Kingdom Hearts HD collection at this E3, but I guess not. Oh well.

I saw the new E3 FF Versus XIII tech demo trailer, or, at least, I think it was for Versus XIII – stupid SE weren’t too clear about exactly which FF game it was supposed to be. Lots of mindless action and pretty looking explosions in pretty looking areas, and no real substance. Kind of sums up SE themselves nowadays sadly.

I’ve seen enough trailers to know that Versus is gonna suck and none of the games really interest me. Guess I’ll wait for FF XXVII then

Forgot to add. I’m also pumped for Resident Evil 6.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a HUGE one for me.
Dinocons (or whatever they’re calling them this time)?
OMG OMG OMG!

From your list:
Borderlands 2
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
Persona 4 Arena
The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard
Lost Planet 3
Command & Conquer: Generals 2
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
Ni no Kuni
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Luigi’s Mansion 2
New Super Mario Bros. 2,
New Super Mario Bros. Mii
Paper Mario 3DS
Pikmin 3
Aliens: Colonial Marines
God of War: Ascension
Planetside 2
LittleBigPlanet Karting
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
The Last of Us
Hitman: Absolution
Sleeping Dogs
Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
Lego The Lord of the Rings
Rayman LegendsInjustice: Gods Among Us

For me, out of the big 3, Nintendo KILLED ’em this year.
-Which isn’t saying much, but still.

I wish Sony would have focused more on the PSV, because I still ain’t seeing that it’s worth my money.
Same goes for Nintendo and the 3DS.

Also:
Dear Altus,
Were the FUCK is SMT or Persona 5 at?
🙁

I’m quite worried about the barren wasteland where the PSV and 3DS games should have been, too. I was hoping either of them would give me a reason to buy at this year’s E3, but its gone the complete opposite direction. Can’t see any reason to own them at all, and that’s really sad because I love portables.

From the list, Halo 4 of course, and… er… mmm… oh, Dead Space 3, and… No, that’s it. But seriously, those 2 aside, there’s not a lot I’m interested in there. I suppose I’ll take a look at Lords of Shadow 2, because the first one… well, it had its moments, I guess (I thought it was a disappointment overall, but there was enough promise that I’m not going to just dismiss LOS2 out of hand). It’ll need to be pretty amazing to really get me on board though, and I’m not holding my breath on that to be honest.

And XCOM… Hmm. I mean, I *loved* XCOM and particularly Terror from the Deep. I played those 2 games religiously like most people did at the time, but remakes rarely turn out the way you want them to. If you can’t buy suitcases full of scientists from that shady dealer, put stunned aliens into your backpack, spend hours trying to get out of the Skyranger without being overwatched by a Cyberdisc and Blaster Bomb the top off very large UFOs and zoom in with your flying suit equipped team to ambush the enemy commander, then it’s not a proper remake IMO!

Basically, this E3 failed to meet my (very unrealistic hopes):
1) Reason to buy Vita or 3DS – Fail.
2) Reason to buy WiiU – Fail.
3) New Bioware IP – Fail.
4) Mirror’s Edge 2 – Fail.
5) Vanquish 2 – Fail.
6) Any original IP that I hadn’t heard about, but which blew my socks off – Epic Fail.
