[U]EDIT:
Files Reuploaded!
These files are new versions. You will have to select all files at once, right click, and have winrar extract them all to the same folder, since they are not part files anymore.
Currently Uploaded Version: 1.2
DUE TO REPEATED UPLOAD FAILURE
For now (only a little while), you’ll have to download part 3 as two files: a .001, and a .002. Put them in the same folder, and also dl the hjsplit file. Run HJ Split and click "Join", then navigate to the .001 file. This will turn it back into a .rar, and you =can extract it normally!
Replaced all MP3 links!
PLEASE NOTE: There may be a few minor glitches where there is a split second of silence (like .2 second click, similar to a click from vinyl), due to my CPU lagging. If you find any instances of this, please tell me at what time and in what song it happens, so that I can re-record the song.
This post will be updated a lot, so keep checking back on it.
(.5 second leading silence + 2 loops + 3 seconds + 10 second fade + 2 seconds trailing silence. All tracks except 70, accurately measured and numbers slightly over-estimated, while remaining consistent.)(Track 70 issue due to insufficient amount of recorded audio)
It’d be cooler if Part 3 of the MP3 set uploaded successfully on one of the last 12 attempts, though… I’ve been waiting nearly 24 hours already.
BTW, a note to everyone: amld1 has posted an awesome thread of RareWare music, go check it out NOW.

Meh, I’m willing to wait and will check out the other parts meanwhile. 😉
is there a reason why part 3 specifically always fails? maybe bad zip?
And thx for the mention of my thread ! You should check it out too I tried to put up the best versions of each soundtrack.
Heads up though, there appears to be errors for #78
And this is just an idea, not even saying I’d want it, but it’d also be neat if someone turned off the Sound effects and just play through and rip the dialogue. I’d personally like to cut up some viridi or pit quotes to use as forum weapon/youtube responses.

Thanks about 78, and I agree about the dialogue. I might do it. Just a little note – I ALWAYS provide FLAC, and am glad to hear that’s appreciated.
BTW, what was the problem with 78? It should sound ridiculously fast-forwarded until near the end.
What FLAC albums do you have? 😀
I’ve been on the hunt for FLAC since I got a new harddrive. Pretty much upgrading every single MP3 I got to FLAC and then-some.

I’ve been on the hunt for FLAC since I got a new harddrive. Pretty much upgrading every single MP3 I got to FLAC and then-some.The part in the space pirate song is like that in the sound test. There is no existing recording withiout it sounding underwater-like. I’ll answer your other question soon.
As for part 3, it failed uploading 30 times now, so I’m gonna try another method.
EDIT: So you’re going to have to jump through an extra hoop or two for MP3 Part 3, but that’s only until I reupload the whole thing (a little while). As for FLAC albums, I have every existing Zelda CD, official and Doujin, including CDs that have a Zelda song or two, and every gamerip in FLAC, as well. I also have the orchestral Pokemon anime music by Shinji Miyazaki (all of it) in FLAC. I have some film scores like The Mexican, and Pirates of the Caribbean, and TV scores, too. I also have Kirby Air Ride, a rip of Super Smash Bros. Brawl containing 343 tracks, Radiant Historia OST and Piano Arrange, Rogue Galaxy, Rips and OSTs of the Super Mario Galaxy games, SSB, SSBM, Saga Frontier II, the Naruto anime, and other stuff.
PD: I’m surprised at the number of songs that were missing from my rip…
Nonetheless I’m so glad it’s out now and I thank you a lot for your hard work with getting it done.
My only Zelda stuff is the 25th Anniversary disc. Do you have your collection posted elsewhere?

No. If you want anything, just ask. I can also find it in someone else’s collection, if I’ve trouble uploading. I have a lot of other FLACs, but they’re not organized, so if you’re wondering about anything in particular, just ask.
your HJ Split download won’t work due to a ToS violation.
WTF? It’s an open-source project!
Anyway, it can be downloaded directly from them so I don’t see a problem. Anybody who is scared of searching Google for and downloading a piece of Freeware from the developer’s website cannot be helped.
Incidentally, Cheshire Cat Joiner (CheshireCat’s One Click File Joiner – Free Download – Tucows Downloads (http://www.tucows.com/preview/519368/CheshireCats-One-Click-File-Joiner)) is better. 🙂

Guess I misunderstood it… Thanks! I didn’t know this existed! Anyway, I fixed everything, so go ahead and delete the MP3 archives you had, as these are better. I think many of my favorites are in part 3. FLAC is still more HQ, as it isnot transcoded from whatever format they used in the 3DS audio files. This is the best you’ll get from Digital > Analog > Digital.
Until the 3DS and/or games are cracked and decoded, ripping game music via Audio jack is the only way. The rips are as lossless as one can get off of a 3DS. Most likely he recorded off the part of the game that allows you to playback the game music. The game also allows you to change the volume of music and SFX separately so there are no SE involved. He also went through the trouble to record music and jiggles and such that come from enemies such as Ornes and blah.
Unfortunately the 3DS sound isn’t the best output for audio listening and is very quiet. What the game rips have is the best 3DS can put out. The rips don’t really compare to the OST that just came out, but the OST has only 25 tracks, which is less than half the game actually had. You’ll find that Link’s rips have music the OST doesn’t (but SHOULD HAVE) feature. The OST was only one disc, and it wasted space for some undeserving music like Chapter 7 ground.
Considering that the internal storage format of the 3DS is unlikely to be high quality in the first place; it’s unlikely that, even if it were possible, a direct extraction would provide an appreciable boost of quality… but of course it would still be worth having. One of these fine days, somebody will work out how to do it… 🙂

One of these fine days, somebody will work out how to do it… :)It’s not as bad as the Twilight Princess "Soundtrack". They’ve been doing this a lot lately, like Ocarina of Time 3D, the Mario Galaxy games (though they included almost all the music that was good, a.k.a. not synth.), the Zelda Symphony CD, and various others. As for the 3DS audio format, I may will be the one who does the rip once it’s possible.
Both Mario Galaxy games have a full official OST, but for the full first one you have to go for the Platinum version release.
There isn’t a FULL official Galaxy soundtrack. The soundtrack for the 1st one is missing the music you hear when you see bowser for the final time, before you start the battle, where it zooms out. There’s also the version of Megaleg when you’re on the planet, the version of Gateway Galaxy when you’re actually chasing the bunnies, with the extra drums, I think.
As for #2, there’s the Supermassive Galaxy themes, the Cosmic Clones theme, and probably a few others.
Chapter 6a Dark Pit, Chapter 7a Seafloor, Chapter 8a Space Pirate, Chapter 11b Reset Bomb Forest, Chapter 14b Thunder Cloud, Chapter 15b Aurum Island, Chapter 21b Chaos Island, Chapter 23a Lord Underworld.
I could have been without Chapter 7b Seafloor, Both forms of Chapter 12, Opening and Dark Pit’s theme.
And thanks for the lossless option.
How often do you think you will update this?

Ecery time I find (or am told about) any glitches in the audio. In other words, rarely. I may end up just uploading updates as separate files.
So thank you tons for the rip and upload! I am slooowwllyy downloading it as I speak…-kicks slow internet-
I will say that for what I have got they sound amazing!! Thank you so much for uploading them!:D

I was having a problem getting the page to load for part 4 of the lossless files. I don’t know if firefox is just having a slow moment or if there is an actual problem. I was able to get all the other parts but that one part. I downloaded the mp3s for the files I was missing, but sadly it just doesn’t sound as good.

According to Sakurai’s twitter, a soundtrack album containing 3 discs will be made available for sale on August 21st.

Amazing news!
The music is a lot of fun and awesome~.
And that’s fantastic news about the OST. I’m definitely going to add it to my buy list.

Can you rip it for us using EAC?
I’ll most certainly try to~!
Hopefully the wait for August will go by pretty quick. ^u^
Good, because you’re gonna get it.
I can’t believe it went from Tokyo, to Hong Kong, then to California all in one day. DHL is awesome!
EDIT: I just got the soundtrack from the DHL man 5 minutes ago!
IT CAME WITH AR CARDS!!!
I currently don’t have a scanner, though I want scans, so IU’ll see what I can do. The last two scanners I used stopped working.
The songs in the first post are still the gamerip right?
Yes.
No, I’m about to. A link to the thread will be posted here.

To make it easythe first part is "Composer" and the second part is who arranged the "Orchestration" of it.
For Composers
光田 康典 = Yasunori Mitsuda
古代 祐三 = Yuzo Koshiro
岩垂 徳行 = Noriyuki Iwadere
高田 雅史 = Masafumi Takada
田中 宏和 = Hirokazu Tanaka
and Orchestration it’s always either
光田 康典 = Yasunori Mitsuda or 亀岡 夏海 Natsumi Kameoka
I, too, am amazed you haven’t heard about this ost.
It should be up soon.
It should be up soon.
WOOHOO Can’t wait! Thanks dude!
It should be up soon.
Whoa! This I should look forward to!
What upload website are you using?
You have two good bets
1. Is Mediafire, that tends to have the basics
Your BETTER bet is
http://www.multiupload.nl/
Upload them here, and they redirect it to multiple uploading sites at once.
If somehow you manage to get it uploaded somewhere I volunteer to provide mirrors if you wish. 🙂
Efforts thus far – regardless of success – are much appreciated.

Multiupload just comes up as a blank white page. I think others have had this problem too.
4shared and Mediafire are my 2 favs, btw.

Thank you.
BTW, guys, MF is the only site that ever works for me. There were others… It may fail a lot, but it’s the only site that comes close.
YOU DA MAN, LINK!
Link: Hows the upload coming?
I can try.
alright, take as much time as you need 😛
I bought the game a few days ago, best game I’ve ever played since the days of Resident Evil 4…
