Apparently, German division of WB made an animated adaptation of Town Musicians of Bremen in 1997. A very LOOSE adaptation.
And it has one of the best soundtracks in animation history. No, srsly!
I haven’t seen the film in its entirety, mostly because there are no English subtitles. It was dubbed in English however, but also censored and cut. FUCK CENSORSHIP! ):<
So yeah, I haven’t really seen it, but stumbled onto the soundtrack on YouTube. And what a soundtrack it was! It was so awesome, that I just HAD to buy it to enjoy it in high fidelity. Now that I have it, I want to share it with you ppl.

The songs are the highlight of the soundtrack. Also, my posting name is a reference to Stewart Copeland:

I care only for the BB King version of "Life is One Long Rainy Day".

No. The original dub was a low profile production, and was treated as a B-movie (to put it honestly, it was treated as "animated crap for kiddies"). I won’t get into debates on whether the english dub is good or not, but the people who were making and releasing the dub, did not exactly think of the movie as a masterpiece.
Nobody thought this movie deserves a soundtrack, and so it was not released.
P.S. I will be reuploading the soundtrack in a few days.
