We had… but NEVER quite a list like these. The list looks legit to me.
We had… but NEVER quite a list like these. The list looks legit to me.
Refer to here: Revenge of the Fallen: The Score – Transformers Wiki (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Revenge_of_the_Fallen:_The_Score#Recording_Session _Cue_Sheet) for the likely origin source of the track list that is now listed on hans-zimmer.com. This one has been available since, at least, February–the last time the page was updated. It could be older than that.
By searching through the request forum, I also happened upon this disastrous train wreck of a thread which occurred when one member found that Wiki page not long ago: Thread 111214
Refer to here: Thread 90703, for the previous track list we had, which according to the OP, originated on BMI.
But when something gets posted on the (almost) Official Site of Hans Zimmer, you have to begin to wonder: "what’s going on?" I mean, how cruel of them to create a page for a score that doesn’t exist to the public. What purpose is it serving currently, apart from making people like us confused and frustrated?
Again, click the link at the top of my thread! It goes straight to HZ.com! Sure, we’ve had lists, but this one was just added to the site. It’s legit. You want proof, click the link!
About this time last year, the tracklists for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were added. And then On Stranger Tides in about June or July. We got all 3 of them, they leaked!

Ok, well a list, legit or not, does not mean the score itself is available. ALL scores have to have lists, ya know? And I will point out that we really did not get Stranger Tides. QWe got demos, which I know is better than nothing, but still…
As for why someone would post a track list with no link…why to fuck with us, why else. Someone somewhere gets a giggle out of seeing members getting all excited and buzzing. The relish the arguments and antics that are sure to ensue.
I can confirm that the posted link still times out.
Do you frequent HZ.com as much as some of us do? You maybe don’t quite know how things work around there, if not. First of all, no links ever are allowed to be posted on HZ.com; it is a discussion board, not a download forum, so there would not be any download links. If someone attempts to leave a post with a hyperlink in it, a message comes up saying "no links please (because of spams)…", and no links are ever given with the track lists.
Second, yeah, it’s totally possible for any old anonymous person to come by to the comments section of any page and post some track list; could be BS or could be real–who knows? But when a page gets created, it could only have been created by one of the moderators or administrators or some other higher-up in HZ.com’s hierarchy. Not just any old anonymous person can create an entire page like that.
Thirdly, the administrators of that site actually delete the posts of the people who like to "fuck with us"–I cannot imagine them being the ones doing the fucking. (Ew, that didn’t quite sound right.) Drawing parallels to past events, there was a page created for the Pirates 4 demos only a few weeks, I believe. before the demos surfaced. Coincidence? Who knows? uhhhh….I was not around to verify the build-up to the leaking of the other two scores though, so I don’t know their stories.
And fourthly, this may be getting a bit nitpicky (but so was your statement), I’m fairly sure that when Mr. Charles referenced On Stranger Tides, he was referring to the demos. And think about it: how many other demo versions of scores do you have in your collection? Even though it’s not the "recording sessions", it is still quite a rarity.
I’m sure I could continue on, but where is this going to lead us apart from arguing here, since we can’t argue on HZ.com?–where no arguing had yet occurred. But it looks like even that doesn’t matter, since the RotF 3CD Complete Score page is likely being wiped clean from the site now.
And no offense to you personally, Amanda, in all of this; I just like to look at situations from a reasonable, logical perspective.
And, no offense taken. A good discussion is always interesting.
THANK GOD!
Despite this being largely one run-on sentence, I can pick out some stuff and make sense of it. And one thing I can now say is that HZ.com is back up, and the page that Mr. Charles has a hyperlink to is still there on the website. What defines a bootleg score, anyway? Is it a score that was stolen out of a vault?
To me, that just seems silly. Oh God, a track list… What is the great harm in that. Almost anyone who takes the time can come up with one, so what? And, of course the other question is why do it, if you can’t leak the score anyway? If you know the site is going to wipe the slate (cause they do every time), why post. Why not come here and post? None of this makes any real sense. It seems an undue amount of energy….
While you’re right in that almost anyone can come up with a track list, again, I have to point out that not almost anyone can create a page dedicated to said track list on HZ.com. But you know a track list is BS made up when you copy and paste a track title from said list into Google, in quotes, and the only result that comes up is the place that you copied the track title from. Search for almost any of the titles from the list Mr. Charles has posted, and you’ll get results showing the list as seen on the Wiki page, the HZ.com page, this request thread, and this chaos-inducing thread: Thread 111214. Now do a Google search for this: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f96/transformers-revenge-fallen-expanded-complete-90703/#post1731291 or something from this: 1. 1m0 – Logos (0:41)

Bottom line, here: I’m just trying to convince you, or anyone else who is doubtful, that this track list is indeed, as everyone likes to say ‘legit’. I do agree with you, though, that none of it makes any sense, and an unreasonable amount of energy going into all of it.
@theeaglesfan005: you better learn to be patient. Just because the track list appeared yesterday doesn’t mean we have to wait like 48 hours or some arbitrary amount of time for the music to just magicly leak. The leaking of a score is not a process–it is a single event. It could be a month or never that the music appears.
As for friends getting twisted up, I think we are keeping it relatively calm around here: there are people like you and me who are having deep conversation, and then there are those like DrunkenMunkey and theeaglesfan005 who…do whatever it is you call what they are doing. I think the atmosphere is different this time, because the track list has been posted on a (semi)official website. In the past, we’ve just had shady traders, who were like "I’ll give you this, if you give me what I want first."
There are no trades happening here–just an atmosphere of mystery, where everyone is calmly waiting around to figure out what exactly is going on. I think the outcome of this situation, whatever or whenever it may be, will be drastically different the outcome of the likes of Dom Davis, Mr. Jones, or Mark G. That is, unless someone comes onto HZ.com saying, "OMG, I just got this! If you all want it, please give me X, first." Then things might get messy.
That is exactly what I was telling someone recently, this happened last year. Not only with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but the On Stranger Tides Demos, too

And Yes
Just curious: why do you keep making long posts that contain all the exact same information that other people have already stated? I mean you’re just saying the same things that everyone else has already said here or elsewhere. Continue if you wish, but I don’t see the point; nor am I intending to start a mess here. Just curious…
Welp, it looks like the excitement died down already, although conversation continues to happen on the HZ boards (about unrelated topics, no matter). Call me premature, but I don’t think anything is going to happen. I’ll even go as far to say that that page will stay up there for months with people continually coming by and saying things like, "OMG, is for like teh realz?!!?!11?!" and "Where I can download this, plz?!" and all the while, we’ll be thinking, man this’ll be good if it ever surfaces. Which it probably isn’t going to.

It’s pure excitement and you won’t stop this because i won’t be the last person to wrote and extend the same lines and i won’t star a mess like you said even create a conflict with offense lines
I’m not entirely sure I read you right. But, I don’t think he wants to stop you, or start anything. He was merely asking a question. I think you could just take it as curiosity…I dunno the likely hood of this leak. But, setting aside the demos, if this happened, wouldn’t it be the first and nly complete Pirates leak? In that context, how likely is this to you guys? (really, just curious..)
sorry Amanda i wrote bad, i never want to say "Mr. Fate won’t stop me to write this or that" or "Mr. Fate you start a fight with me"" nothing nothing of those lines. sorry i wrote bad and like you wrote, it’s a different concept you understand and that’s my bad sorry
I am confused as to where this is coming from….? This is a request thread for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Complete Score. Are you setting up a hypothetical situation in which you’re comparing the likelihood of this happening to the likelihood of a complete Pirates score getting out? Whether I am misunderstanding or not, I’d like to bring up my point from earlier. I think it is way more likely that this score could surface than any Pirates scores because I see no track lists for Pirates scores that come anywhere close to the magnitude of this RotF track list. And again, why was there a page created for this score on HZ.com? None of the bootleg releases for Pirates even have pages on that site.
However, I am seeing a flaw in my own logic–but, then again, I don’t know if it is a big enough flaw to be a deal breaker. We also have track lists like this RotF one for DotM and Sherlock Holmes. The difference is: those don’t have a place on HZ.com. There is really only one person who could answer our questions, and that would be the HZ.com board member, Hybrid Soldier. But there is also one problem. Once, several months ago, someone posted a track list for the complete score to "Jumper" or some other movie (I truly have no clue). Hybrid Soldier came in and was like, "Uh, that’s cool. But that’s old news to me." He only said it that one time, but now whenever someone finds a new track list, people always reach out to Hybrid and say, "This would be cool for all of us to get, but I’ll bet this is nothing interesting or new to Hybrid."
And then, sometimes we get impersonators who think they are being cool (I don’t see how) who post as the name Hybrid Soldier, and say such stupid things as: "i’ve added the list and informations about the complete score, because those are so old news for me." Up until the above incident, I saw Hybrid on there fairly regularly, and he always posted useful information and engaged in constructive conversations. Now in the times that we’d really like to have him around to answer questions, we have to have some assholes going around thinking it is cute to mock him. He must have decided since there are jerks who will stoop so low as to steal his identity just to troll the rest of the HZ.com-goers, that we as regulars of that site are too immature.
Sorry for kind of going completely off-topic on that rant/mostly unrelated story.
I want that one and these:

41. Foundry Save To Forest Fight (1:24)
30. Devastator Blown – Orange Smoke (3:19)
32. Optimus Rebuilt – The Final Battle (3:22)
Man!28. Diving For Megatron (2:33) is what I really really want the most!

Yeah, these pretty much sum up my "must listen to FIRST… thheeeen start at the beginning" list.
And DAMN, I just want a complete score for this movie…I am being taunted by the 50 different track listings I have found online.
I mean, the movie’s almost 4 years old. Seriously.

1.) ANYONE could have made that list on the wiki page. For all you know, I could have made it, but I didn’t.
2.) The film was released on June 24th, 2009. *2009*
Last I checked, it’s currently 2012. AND it’s still May, so the film ISN’T EVEN 3 years old yet…

NO. IT BETTER RELEASE BEFORE THE END OF DAH WORLDZ!
:ashine:
Not even for a million years.
It’s because Steve was one of Hans’ students at the time.
….He still is. Steve Jablonsky, John Powell, Klaus Badelt, Ramin Djawadi, Lorne Balfe, Henry Jackman, James Dooley, Ryeland Allison, Atli rvarsson…they’re all protgs of Hans Zimmer. I didn’t list Harry Gregson-Williams because I don’t think he’s with RCP anymore. His last score listed on HZ is Cowboys & Aliens. Arthur Christmas isn’t on there, and Prometheus doesn’t count because it’s not his score, it’s Marc Streitenfeld’s score.
Also, I thought I should mention this being as it won’t be listed on HZ, and because I just found out: Harry is scoring Total Recall!!!
Me too! I was so excited when I found out 😀
**also**, two days go by, and Bump?
Again, really?
? Really? Bump? What’s to bump? If this had leaked, there would be giant neon billboards, fireworks and blimps. It isn’t gonna just be one little post in the middle of nowhere. Same goes for info. So many are following this, there is no chance of missing a post.
**also**, two days go by, and Bump?
Again, really?
Now, this is nice. Thank you, Amanda, for saying exactly the words that I would have had to summon in the case that I had seen this post before you saw it. You would [not] be astounded at how often I have to explain this very exact concept to people elsewhere. Eh, what the hell; I’ve already begun this post anyway. I shall continue.
@leatherhead93: Are you serious? Are some of your brain cells missing, or are you just totally ignorant when it comes to matters dealing with one of the most very basic concepts/issues about Remote Control Productions and the scores they put out? Making a post like what you have done here is so utterly useless, it screams to me that you must be what could be referred to as an RCP Virgin–especially given the fact that this thread was already bumped just three days ago–and by slightly more constructive conversation than your sad little "bump".
I don’t have as much to go off of as RCP Virgins usually post things like, "Is there any news?" or other variations…but they normally get a response along the lines of: "No. There isn’t any news. And trust me: if there was, you would know about it. If a score as prized and massive as one such as this were to leak, you would know. Everybody would know, because we would all be talking about it, which would thereby render a statement like ‘Has anyone got any news on this?’ ultimately pointless and redundant."
Continue on.
Do you really have to respond in such a way? I’m sorry if i’m not familiar with the way forums work here. I’m obviously a new person and don’t know much about this site so why would you insult my intelligence not knowing anything about me? Look on the site i’m usually on which is called allisbrawl if a blog is really interesting or something like that but you had nothing to contribute yourself you would bump it. That way it would get noticed by your friends or people who may stalk your profile. If it was recommended by mods bumping the blog would keep it on the front page longer.
Also bumping a blog in allisbrawl allowed you to see who and where you posted to in your recent activity. I’m simply from a different culture and was actually trying to help the best way i knew how.
Thanks for being a jackass though.
Again i’m sorry didn’t know the proper way to do things here but being a jerk about it that unnecessary?
Here in the music downloads and/or requests, bumps are usually used to revive old threads, when your requested item has not appeared for a long while. You "bump" the thread in hopes someone new will read it and be able to help. In this case, the topic is always going to be somewhat active, even if it not a top post. It is also in the request section, where there is less over all traffic. If you want to keep track of a thread here, suscribe to it. My response was in light of the fact that after only two days, anyone would need to bump the thread. It seemed as if you thought that perhaps someone had got it or info, and just forgot to post.
With a little time gone now, it does not seem as if this score is as on the verge of leaking that we thought. It may require more patience.

Another popular use of the bump is for posters who want their thread to stay near the top page, yes. Some go through their stuff weekly and bump their threads. It is very annoying. As for manners, Shrine can be a bit rougher than not. But keep in mind tone does not transfer well in typing. But, it can be a bit bruising. Unfortunately, if you hang around here, you just have to deal with it. Much worse language and attitude than that happens often around here.
All that matters now is waiting for it to leak…who knows how long it will take.
How do I post this awesome score? It may not be completely complete, but it’s ALMOST THERE
Anyway, I want to post this, but mediafire is my only free option, and they don’t give me enough space.
Also, I have Transformers 1 and Transformers 3 Complete Recordings too.
What can I say? I waited and was patient every day. And when the link appeared, I grabbed it before it vanished forever!
