There you go with your never never again.
um…. lets seee….
"There seem to be a lot of bits and pieces floating around. I have a crapload of it. But, some seems to be actually from the score, while others are recreations of the score. Good, very good recreations, but not the actual score itself, Many of these are floating around youtube…"
and:
"Mostly fan recreations. I can match most of it to tracks I got from youtube. They are very good, but most are not original score."
There are people out there who have clean original sent to them by the composer. One must have leaked.
Anyway back to the score, the only complete tracks that have ever been available is the main theme and Cheetaras theme in 56k quality.
Bernard Hoffer has sent complete tracks to a fan in the past from the first season. So the score has been in other peoples hands for quite some time, it’s just never appeared online until now.
thanks McDawson!
I believe Kevin Kliesch mentioned a possible score release for the new series. With any luck, Hoffer will pass his tapes on to La La Land or someone appropriate for a tie-in.

I doubt any of these (exept possibly the end theme) are DVDRips, at least the character themes. If they are i tip my hat to who did them, not just because there are absolutely no signs of vocal but the edition of each is amazing. This level of work is doubtfull to be fanmade…
Thank you so much!! and the original uploader.. 😀
How can music F**k you?
on second thought……. I myself and I, has some Orgasms attack with music…..
so yes, it is possible for music to "F**k" you all over.
XDXD
there must be some kind of info on this soundtrack? could it fan made then?
Anyone have a suggested track order then?
XDXD

That list probably came from the same person that has the full soundtrack and made the online petition to persuade WB to release it. But after 5 years WB seems to not give a flying f**k for it. Try putting it online and then you get their attention, saying they’re being robbed by online sharing sites, that the internet is the devil. Ridiculous. Funny thing, as soon as this leaked out and comments about it started poping up on the petitions video on youtube, the user shut the comment section down.
In all honesty, if i had been sitting on this full score until now and WB hadn’t moved their asses, i would release it. The only thing that would stop me is the fact that the guy/gal that has it, got it (as described on the site) from Bernard Hoffer himself and assured him that he/she wouldn’t post it online. Giving your word to the author is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, i would splatter it all over and send a big middle finger to WB and all those tha, like them, sit on this stuff, don’t publish it, don’t give a crap about the fans and victimize themselves when it pops up.
Right now, though i would love the full score, i’m happy with this and it’ll do fine. 😀
1) MAIN TITLE (NO LYRICS): renamed, was Thundercats no lyrics. I put this here, in place of the version with lyrics
2) JAGA: A nice regal theme to open any episode to
3) THUNDERA: a nice, slightly tense version of the theme.
4) SNARF: introduces a bit of comedy relief early on
5) CHEETARA
6) TYGRA
7) PANTHRO
8)WILY KIT & WILY CAT….The character themes I went ahead and put here. I don’t think any are ever used fully in one go in the series, but they are present throughout, so for me it makes sense to present them here.
9) CURIOSITY: always kills the cat, right? I figure this could be the jumping off point to introduce the main "theme" of whichever show
10) CASTLE PLUNDAR: The mutants, lazin’ around bitching on how the cats have everything, and they don’t..ie, the beginning of trouble
11) GARDEN OF DELIGHTS: could go anywhere really..
12) MUMMRA THE EVER LIVING: I put it here. It does have the transformation sting at first, but is mostly mood music, so could go anywhere as MummRa plots…
13) THUNDERCATS CASUAL : could be anything, agin. But makes nice travelling music, or misc cats having fun bgm
14) TWISTED FOREST: more tension
15) SNARF (SLOWER): time to break some more tension…
16)DANGER APPROACHING…Time to remind everyone this is not a safe garden spot
17) SWAMP OF DESPAIR: just more tension
18) IMMINENT DANGER: MummRa / mutants / freaky bad thing rears their head, finally
19) MUTANTS BATTLE: follows on in this vein, with battle music
20) BATTLE IN THE SKY: battle continues, Lion=o starts to look out-manned
21) SWORD OF OMENS: used in many variations, inclufing sight beyond sight, but with the roar at the end it seems more like Lion-0 is summoning the cats
22) THUNDERTANK: nice traveling music, but also could fill a gap as the cats respond to Lion-o’s summons
23) SAVE THE DAY: cats battle baddie / muties
24) CATS WIN (DUH!)
25) LESSONS LEARNED: someone screwed up, caused trouble that was not needed, and now we, and the children watching the show will discuss it. I really like this theme BTW.
26) END TITLES: renamed from Thundercats reprise, for obvious reasons
27)THUNDERCATS WITH LYRICS: I put it here mostly as a bonus track. You could put it at the top, and put the instrumental here.
I deleted the metal version, as it is not likely part of this set. Like I said, it is mostly arbitrary. The action / tension stuff in the middle could go anywhere, the character themes are presented as suites, so ditto. But I think Sword of Omens through the end makes a kindof sense. Bottom line, no trak list to follow, so do it how you want.

I truly approve your list, Amanda. I think it should pass muster for an expanded TV score.

Err, nope sorry I was wrong.
He’s got a bunch of stuff, most of it now on this new release. You can compare. He does a decent job, but in direct comparison, not so much. Still, he offers mp3 downloads, you could always add these two as bonus or alt. tracks. 🙂

But I’m digressing. Blame on this pure adventure soundtrack. Thank you again, MacDawson!
(boy, that was a long sentence. Put a comma for easier reading. Sorry)
(And did it again. I ment a period punctuation mark, not a comma. What a error!… But then, since english is not my native language, please let it slide) 🙂
But I’m digressing. Blame on this pure adventure soundtrack. Thank you again, MacDawson!
As far as I know this is the only thing in existence, and I’m not even sure what the original source was. There was a petition site, a few years ago, trying to get the full score released. The people who started it had the complete score in their posession, sen to them by Bernard Hoffer himself. Out of respect for the author, and his generous offer, they would not share it through the web, which is understandable. So they made the petition pushing for a legal official release. Unfortunately, even with a considerable number of signatures, the rights holders (WB at the time) never got it published. Hopefully, it still will. He-Man got published, so there’s hope…
EDIT: NM I did realize this wasn’t official. Still incredible for what we have here. Hats off and respect who put this together.
