I redownloaded just now to check and everything extracts okay. Not sure why they’re showing as corrupt.

i only get un-usable files.. when i then take away the numbers and leave it to 7z and try to extract it, it doesnt work.. 🙁 any idea?

Make sure all four files are in the same location. Leave the numbers in the filename, right click on the first one (.001), and extract. Not sure what program you’re using, but WinRar and 7zip should work. Let me know if you’re still not having any luck and I can try a reupload.

Tom, try using hjsplit – it’s built into jdownloader (addons>hjsplit>merge), or you can download the standalone program off of cnet I think. Sometimes those numbered archives will work with hjsplit when winrar doesn’t open them (you usually have to open up winrar & then browse to the 001 file to it to work in the first place).

Sorry it didn’t work. The 001 and 002 extensions are just how 7zip does archives in parts. If I did it in WinRar, it’d be .part1, .part2, etc. I could’ve sworn WinRar could handle stuff done in 7zip, but I might be wrong.

You might try downloading 7zip and seeing if it can extract the archive properly. I don’t have any experience with the method Smurf Stomper mentioned, but it’s worth a shot as well. Or I can do separate archives instead of one huge one in parts, like you suggested. I really don’t mind uploading again.

When i compress a download i mark the songs i want, right click, add to rar (write my title of the rar, then ok) and it will simply be like "IAAScore.rar"
And if i need to split them up in parts i only mark the amount of tracks that is under 200mb, then rar it, then the rest of the tracks.

Yeah, Mediafire is limited to 200MB, so when I go over the limit I rely on the auto splitting feature of my archiver instead of doing it manually. Glad you got it to work!
