I Hurge you to buy this when the CD comes out. This CD almost didn’t happen and we must show our support so that others like it see the light of day. 😀
I like Tyler music very much
This iTunes release would be brought-on-site by me, but the stupid thing is GeoBlocked for the US only. Why oh WHY does iTunes do this? In a world where I can watch an episode of television simultaneously from the other side of the world, yet can’t buy a music release legitimately baffles me. Thanks for the link, if there is a hard-copy release I’ll definitely be picking it up…
indeed it almost didn’t happen but glad it push through and here it is. and yes i think it’s only fair that we also support the physical cd when available for purchase, to those who would want it. myself would be looking for it on the local store. 🙂
There’s about three Tyler’s cds including this one coming this March (long overdue Columbus Circle, Brake also). I hope Lego Universe will see the light of day as well.
Arachnid is incorrect tag. It’s Airachnid. Even on digital booklet track is listed as Airachnid.
Yes, Bab…er… Amanda. It’s the official release from iTunes, i just converted to MP3.
Thank you!

This had been pointed out when the tracklist came out, but the iTunes file was named Arachnid. Had i noticed the booklet had it correctly named i would have changed it. But that’s easily fixed, i guess. 😀

The original files would be better. Re-converting to mp3 has degraded the quality.
You can always buy the CD when it comes out.
As to Digital Downloads I have never met one that didn’t have distorted bass on the heavy bass scenes this recording is no exception.
Thanks MacDawson for the post.
I’ll haven’t yet listened to the whole thing but i’ll let you know when i do. 😀
FALSE
converting itunes m4a 256kbps to mp3 320kbps still keeps the same quality
Thank you very much 😀
Thank you very much 😀
Yes it is 😀
Converting a lossy format to another lossy format will always result in reduced quality. Since both MP3 and M4A are lossy codecs, converting between the two will result in reduced quality. 🙂

Prime-ary preview 🙂

This is correct. And considering that .aac is a higher quality codec than even 320kbps .mp3 (possibly even higher than vbr) it’s a reduction regardless.
However, I GREATLY thank macdawson for uploading this, I’ll happily listen to it numerous times until I’m paid this weekend & can buy the soundtrack from iTunes (or maybe even Amazon, where it’s $8.99) Thanks!
let’s wait with flac version until it’s sold out, if ever
NO! I WANT FLAC NOW
DO YOU HEAR ME, MAC?
FLAAAAAAAAAC!!!!!
NOW DAMMIT :awsm:
NOWWWWWWWW :eye: 🙁
I assume part of this post is that I request you in PM the original files, and I explained why I would like the files its original format (as you offered them in a previous post).
Obviously I could/should buy the CD, but I don’t think that’s the point, here the poeple are debating/discussing about formats, convertion…etc. Since a lot of people use ipods, and for example Samsung plays these files natively and some others players can use/install Rockbox do a conversion it’s a waste of time and even worse quality.
Again thanks and sorry if there were any misunderstanding.
Nope, not addressed to you either. Anyway, i’ll be posting a link to the m4a files shortly.

SUMBODY MIRRORS PLEASE…PLEASE PLEASE…..???
Thx again, much appreciated!!!!
On a follow up to this, i have found most of the 11 promo cues are in fact here. Some are exactly the same in name and length, others are part of bigger tracks or renamed. But, as you may have noticed, i said MOST. I can’t seem to find the promo cues named "Agent Fowler" and "The Decepticons" anywhere. I will take a closer listen but they seem to be missing. If anyone finds them on the score, please post your findings. 😀

How is that not related? I think this is the best spot for it. Even better than the request thread, because *sometimes* you get no help or answers
Not related in the sense that it’s not part of the score. 😀
I have found bits and pieces of "Agent Fowler" on other tracks. It seems that both it and "The Decepticons" are in the CD but chopped up into other tracks. Or if you prefer to see it the other way around, the two tracks are made uf of bits and pieces from several tracks from the CD. Either way, you should keep them. As for the others, they’re either unaltered or part of bigger tracks, so they’re unnecessary though the completists will want to keep them. I know i will. XD

The search is over. Thanks to a promo spot made on a TV channel in my country using the same music, i sent an email to the TV station wich very politly, got me the name of the track. So, for those who, as i did, loved that piece of BGM, here it is.

If you don’t know what you’re talking about, you should keep your cake hole closed.
Re-encoding any lossy format to any other lossy format does not retain the same quality.
EDIT: AH, I got the original m4a files now and it’s much better. The MP3 conversion was god-awful.

I dont agree at all, I have the original CD, there are a lot of distorted moments in a lot of songs, Ive never heard a such badly mixed CD! Shame on Lakeshore Records and (???) Brian Tyler.
Aww such a shame 🙁 I hate this "loudness war" with a lot of new music. Totally destroys it.
Yeah I only listened to a couple of tracks , I thought it was a bit better than the MP3 but guess it’s not really.
