Cool, thanks Mr Fate. When there’s a score or song I want that only exists on YouTube, I simply use YouTube audio ripper. I love seeing the comments of people saying "Omg I want this soooo baaaaddddd" or "download link pleaseeeee". They make me laugh. But, YouTube audio ripper rips everything in 128kbps, which always turns out to be only a couple of mb. How your version is over 8 mb I do not know, but thanks for sharing
yes thank you for sharing Mr. Fate very much appreciated listening to it right now:)

the tracks i am waiting for are Optimus and Ratchet Enter The Ark, Optimus Finds Sentinal Prime in Ark, Primes In Africa, Autobots Return and a few more hope those get done as well:)
Yes, I find it quite humorous as well, and there is no need for me to restate what you’ve already said. I am in agreement; it is not that difficult to snag stuff from YouTube in mp3 form. Hell, it doesn’t even have to be music that you’re ripping. And always, if you can’t extract the music using a YouTube to mp3 converter, you could always use your computer’s stereo mix recording option and record the music using Audacity or some other stand-alone audio recorder.
In response to your observation about the file size: The program I use to rip tracks gives me practically an unlimited variety of formats to rip stuff in. I could have ripped that track in WAV or FLAC or even some obscure format like OGG. Instead I opted for 320kbps mp3 since the YouTube source was of such a high quality.

That’s fantastic, but you can’t be too greedy.

What’s that ?
listing to all the Transformers Score together one at a time:)
Just wanted to let you guys know I’m still here
commercial and complete:)
Uh…wait. So you want him to do Transformers? Like there aren’t enough edits and releases of that score available already? Basically all that would be left to do, aside from several as-of-yet still missing cues (and possibly unreleased for eternity), would be to rearrange the score(s) in film order and have film edits. And who wants that? Some areas of the movie replaced some of the great and unused cues on the bootlegs with (lackluster) remixes of other cues. And DVD rips won’t help out all that much unless GauthierG has found a revolutionary way of removing the SFX and/or voice echoes that penetrate any/all DVD audio channels of a typical Transformers scene.
As for Transformers 2, I don’t think very much more can be done than what darth2602 uploaded. You could take the OST tracks, as well as the tracks from Lorne Balfe and re-edit them to fit the film but again…film versions. Granted some cues could probably be extracted from the DVD audio and mixed without too many intrusive SFX but I believe we’ve just about got all the necessary material we could to have an enjoyable, expanded, listening experience for RotF. IMHO, most of the best tracks were on the OST from the beginning. But again…well, reread the last sentence of my first paragraph and start at ‘unless’.
I think Soundtrackers was referring to scores in general! Not specifics on the Transformers scores! – At least that is what I got from reading his request!
However, should Gauthier be considering to do the other *Transformers* Scores – There is a nigh on possibility that he may be reconsidering now as your statement kinda suggest a more *Whats the Point* Approach!!
It would be insanely pointless to do a rip of the first and second unless they are direct rips as apposed to mixes from already done material! The amount, as you so correctly stated, rips are out there already!
HOWEVER: RE: Transformers – Should Gauthier have a way of extracting the ‘Film Versions’ of tracks we already have that are not indeed ‘Film Versions’ and of course the cues that are indeed missing from said floating versions already! Then it would be quite cool to get them! (But not the entire score)
RE Transformers 2 – I am happy with what i have for that anyway in the way of a commercial release so wouldn’t pester the cause for it to be done, unless of course Gauthier sees fit to do it because ‘He chooses to do so’
With that said and done, i think it more respectful to Gauthier to allow him to finish of what he is doing now, before people bombard him with inane request of scores for their pleasure! – I would wait for Gauthier to say that he is open to requests! (But that is just me)

Well, you didn’t post that tracklist I think, but you did have the DOTM complete, during that scam of Mark G. I think that tracklist up there was similar to the one you had.

My sincerest and deepest apologies to GauthierG and his thread which we have hijacked. I don’t believe the outburst this evening that initially began with this: [darth2602’s pointless post] (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/transformers-dark-moon-expanded-score-gauthierg-version-111920/5.html#post1956556) is really going to go anywhere, so let’s try our best to get back to the right subject.
And also my apologies to soundtrackers, whose post I misinterpreted which, in turn, could be the real root to the flare-up.

Also, it would be kind of nice if you could keep tracks with OST titles the same if there wasn’t much editing done on those tracks. I’m just going through randomly sampling the tracks based on their titles, and I keep picking ones that are just off of the OST. Maybe you could add tags to the end of all track; tags like "OST version", "Film Version", "Film Edit", "DVD rip" or maybe just specify which tracks have SFX in them and which originated from the OST.
Where did you get that differently amplified version of Pieter Schlosser’s "Hemorroids"?
Lost Signal (Album Version) should be renamed Earthly Conflicts (Original Album Version, 4:09)
Lost Signal (Album Version) should be renamed Earthly Conflicts (Original Album Version, 4:09)
I’ve done this… bug ?
@GauthierG:
Firstly, do you have me set to ignore? I’m just trying to offer useful advice but you appear to not be responding to my posts.
Secondly, please divulge to us your secrets of how you are getting such clean and pure rips. I just find it, really, impossible that you could be extracting audio from a DVD and somehow filtering out 100% of the SFX–I mean, there’s not even anything residual left behind. "Saving Carly", "Wingmen", and "Building Slide" look like they were mastered completely differently from some of the OST tracks that are on your edit…they almost look like they could be from….some set of recording sessions. Or is there like additional music that has been included on a bonus DVD from which you were able to extract 5.1 channels with relatively minimal SFX?
I would rather like to lean toward this option. And I say this because the tracks that do have SFX in them also appear to have much lower quality than those that don’t. Almost a YouTube-like quality. "Nest HQ" actually sounds like it came from a source that was only available in stereo and you used the karaoke effect on it.
Thirdly, why do so many of the tracks just cut in at the beginning like "Preparing the Shuttle" (which is in mono) and "Building Slide" or cut out at the end like "Moon Mission" and "Parental Counseling"?
Fourthly, your volume levels definitely need some adjusting–and I know you said you were working on that. What program(s) are you using for all your editing?
Of course none of this post matters if I am on your ignore list…
:twochicks:

(sorry for my approximative english)
Tracks in mono were not simply handled. Actualy I have these in stereo, mono was just for the previews… b???ta track ? If you find tracks of excellent quality, it is because I took time to mix them. I use of the pro material. When there are requests, I hurry up to create tracks without mixing them –> medium quality.
I use mainly audacity as well as programs belonging to the radio of my father, and the programs bound to the equipment of DJ of my cousin.
Certain tracks are more difficult to work because some sfx stay. Where from their less good quality.
(and I’m not ignoring you)

If there was an unlike button on this site, I would be using it now. Posts like yours are the kind of posts that cause things to catch on fire–but I’ll try to go run and grab a bucket of water. I don’t think you realize the implications that this technique could have on the world of DVD rippers.
Side note: "Driller Attack" is super awesome track! I enjoy hearing the remixed version of that one cue from TF1, but why is there such an awkward fade-out before the cue actually ends?
I for one, don’t want him to say how he does it. I will always prefer bootlegs than rips, if the choice is present obviously.
And it’s not DVD ripping, it’s Blu-Ray ripping 😀

The work is amazing. I don’t care if you got it from waterboarding Jablonsky, keep it up.
Side note: "Driller Attack" is super awesome track! I enjoy hearing the remixed version of that one cue from TF1, but why is there such an awkward fade-out before the cue actually ends?
Because I used the fade-out option on Audacity :rob:
Clovie : AnyMP4 Blu Ray Ripper, but it’s not free.
Sorry if I ofended you. But if he doesn’t want to say how he does it, it’s his opinion.
I for one, don’t want him to say how he does it. I will always prefer bootlegs than rips, if the choice is present obviously.
And it’s not DVD ripping, it’s Blu-Ray ripping 😀
And what is the difference between DVD ripping and blu-ray ripping? Because I own both the DVD release and Blu-Ray release of Inception, and the only difference I can hear is that the Blu-Ray audio is minimally better quality–and I may just be imagining that, lol! All the SFX are in all the same places, the volume levels are pretty much the same. Everything is the same, basically. Now, if we were talking a 7.1 surround sound Blu-Ray versus a 5.1 surround sound DVD, then I could see where some differences might be. I’ve never worked with 7.1 sound.
Because I used the fade-out option on Audacity
Don’t you start to get smart on me. Clearly you used the fade-out option on Audacity, and that’s why the tracks fade-out. But why did you choose to fade them out where you did? Besides, the amount of fade-out varies from track to track, and several of them fade-out mid-cue. Why did you choose to do that?
The tracks were absolutely SFX-free up to that point, and I could only assume that they might continue to be SFX-free beyond that point…That is, unless you’re using something other than just the OST and the Blu-Ray–something that only has those tracks available in the form we are now hearing them.
You have to at least admit that "Freeway Chase (Alt. Movie Version)" is that track I ripped for someone off of YouTube a couple days ago–not my exact rip of it, of course (I amplified it some and added silences at the beginning and end). I mean it’s identical, all down to the fade-out in mid-cue…
As I said, it is totally fine if your trick will only work on this one score, and also I urge you, if you don’t feel like continuing to discuss this publicly, we can take to private messaging. And I also apologize for being so wordy.

well said:rofldata:
I am grateful for the work GauthierG has done thus far, and I hope he continues to add more tracks, and update existing tracks (fix volume levels, create proper fade-ins and fade-outs, not cut off cues midway through the cues)! I guess I just have to accept the fact that while scientists have yet to prove that magic is real, GauthierG is sitting over here like magic ain’t no big thing. Bravo to him, and I suppose it’s time for me to back down, because while I am just trying to have a better understanding of the whole situation in the case that I might one day be able to wield this same magic, all of you are all like "Stop all this drama! Leave him the f*ck alone! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc)" I searched and searched Google and YouTube to find additional tracks and additional composers’ websites, but the only thing of value I was able to come up with was possibly where Gauthier is getting his track titles. But I could even be wrong on that.
Why is it a crime to try to gain knowledge? I just have to keep telling myself: "It’s only a magic trick. It’s only a magic trick. It’s only a magic trick…" and perhaps if the trick were revealed the universe would collapse or something drastic like that.
But you have to look at it at both sides! The knowledge that Gauthier has was either learned or discovered by him or someone else, so why can it not be that if you search for the knowledge, you may just find it by yourself and only have yourself to give credit to. From my understanding, Gauthier is but a youngster *younger than 20* so if he can decipher this manic code or whatever it is, then it should be common knowledge! Maybe you are just looking in the wrong place!

No, no, my dear sir! You’ve got it all backwards. I’m encouraging you to continue doing your work! What you’ve done so far is superior to a lot of other works I’ve seen. I’ve only started making a ruckus here, because I had to see what amazing work you were doing that everyone kept gushing over. When I finally downloaded your work I was astounded and baffled by how you were able to do what you are doing. I wanted to unlock a secret, figure out your magic trick, but now I know I can’t. I’m going to stop trying to pry open your magic box, and let it all be! Please, by all means, keep up your great work, and if you don’t want to see me pestering you, simply put me on your ignore list.

I don’t think you understand what trolling actually is. What was that part before you edited your post about emailing Steve Jablonsky? Just because I’ve only been a member since February 2012, that means I’m naive and immature and uninformed? Yeah, that makes sense.
i guess its was you still doing by responding everytime and need to own the last word, and my suggestion is to Mail jablonsky to ask for a real complete and piss him off too if he dont respond. Now Gauthier, three things:
1. You’ll tell us when you post new updates, right?
2. You’re (hopefully) working on equalizing the volume levels, yes?
2. In the most serious, and least drama-inducing manner, I’d like to ask: when will we get the full version of "Driller Attack"? I quite like where the track is headed when it fades out, and I do hope to have the full cue at some point. Same thing goes for "Wingmen".
Thanks for any response!
Gauthier, I’m listening to this DVD rip of the score that was uploaded to YouTube, and it sounds to me like the cue in question continues on for a bit longer. Also, there seems to be longer pauses between portions of the cue in the movie–compared to your edit of the track (all of this goes for several of the other magically SFX-free tracks I mentioned earlier, as well).
Here, I’ll link to the channel that I’ve been reviewing: 53 – Driller Attack (Transformers 3-Dark of the Moon/wSFX) – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g6GxSdkQ5E). It seems like all of your track titles are the same as the ones on this YouTube channel….The bits of tracks that have SFX still in them on your edit…you didn’t rip some of those those from this YouTube channel….did you?
I don’t want to cause any damage here, but judging by past reactions, the only people that like to create drama out of my posts are the people whose names ARE NOT GauthierG.
EDIT: I forgot to mention here–it’s totally understandable and acceptable that you have other things to do in your busy life. Please take your time; there is absolutely no hurry here. 🙂

I hope you’ll be able to fix it up later on so it doesn’t quite sound like you ripped it from a stereo source, and then performed the karaoke effect on it, rendering it mono with remnants of dialogue. (I’m not trying to sound sarcastic; I’m just trying to sound honest. If I added a smiley face or an lol, it might look like I’m trying to be an asshole.)
Next update:

It’s good to hear that you’ve added the track numbers to all the tracks. Will you also be working on equalizing the volume levels on some of the tracks? Stuff from the OST is way too loud, whereas some of that "magicly-edited" unreleased music is way too quiet. And a couple tracks have a little bit of both sides of the issue like "Storming Chicago". It all makes for a somewhat jarring listening experience (and the tracks that just cut in/out only make the experience worse).
…Anyway, I look forward to your next update!
When there are not many SFX I use Vocal Remover and I remove little of sfx remainders where from the slightly lower quality.
And to remove voice, I must convert in mono and use Karaoke. But if you know how to have a good stereo, I listen to you.
That’s another rule I’ve seen about the art of DVD ripping: you actually have to own a physical copy of the movie you plan to do a rip of. (Or else find an upload of it that has the proper sound format; but at that point, wouldn’t it just be easier to go out and buy the Blu-Ray/DVD?)
Wait…So, if you can use your magic trick to remove SFX from certain tracks (that produces other bizarre results, as everyone has been made well aware of), why can’t you just do that on everything? I mean, you have quite a wide variety of sources in your edit (more than I’ve seen); why aren’t you able to just do the magic trick you did on tracks like "Saving Carly", "Driller Attack", and "Kill the Prisoners" on all the rest of the score?
well it’s sometime relatively hard to do so. I’ve been working on a rip for an anime recently, and the only existing DVD that has a 5.1 version is OOP and not in my zone. So I had to make do with a 5.1 ogg rip of the soundtrack. works pretty good, but the quality isn’t really great, as lot’s of frequencies are lost because of the compression…

This is going to help me a lot! Thank you GauthierG!
If you think about it, it’s not your edit at all if you have to use other peoples’ works to make it complete. There are probably three more ways I could say that same statement, but I hope you understand that it is a really bad idea to do what you’re doing. But…I guess: what do I know, eh?
And what’s it matter if you’re just making it for your own personal listening/use? Now, if you did choose to upload it, you’d have to list it as being "GauthierG’s edit, re-edited by anonymous189." No new material, just GauthierG’s edit, rearranged and re-edited.

Hi there! I just tried multiple ways and times to access the download link and it continually shows the browse / upload screen, not the actual download. Could you please look into this? Same.
That’s bizarre, you should only see that screen if you have an account, go to the main page and hit the "share" tab… In other words, if you’re preparing to upload something. Bizarre.
How come when I press the download link the site says "All slots have been filled. Try again momentarily"? I really wanna listen to this rip! Any help would be great!

And volume is equalized.

Im fairly certain that Sneak Into The City Part 2 wasn’t even used in the finished film.
Huh, well, I would have thought that if you (GauthierG), were using this track list Dark of the Moon: The Score – Transformers Wiki (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Dark_of_the_Moon:_The_Score#Complete_Score_Cue_She et) as a system for naming all your tracks that you’d be able to put in "Sneak into the city pt2" in the proper place, despite the fact that it wasn’t used in the movie. You’d like to have the score expanded the most that you can possibly have it, no? Including unused tracks is one way to do that.
And, I have a complete score but there are a lot of SFX, and it’s not my work.
If you don’t mind my asking, what caused the abrupt ending in your work? You had a lot of good tracks, and I had hoped to see it all improved and built upon. I know this question is no longer relevant but I feel the need to ask it anyway: do you actually own the bluray of Transformers: Dark of the Moon?
+ it’s the djbruer’s version, 8JJC1 version looks like mine…
:seriously::catman:Nigger.
That’s not good. I’ve already given that loser a message.
Yeah, that’s what I started to think once I heard "Saving Carly" on his channel. He has posted some of those tracks after you shared them here, but I think he had some of his own works before that point, as well. There is only hitch though–I don’t think he stole your tracks. Listen to the track that autoplays on his main page: "Project Pillar"? That’s one of the ones on your edit that I complained about fading out too early before the cue actually ends–it’s "Driller Attack" on your edit. His version plays for a couple seconds longer than yours…I daresay 8JJC1’s tracks are of a higher quality than yours as well–they sound crisper. And we all know that audio quality cannot be increased, only decreased. And that implies that 8JJC1 did not steal your work.
From a different perspective, consider this. Do you have a problem with 8JJC1 stealing your work (which I am kind of feeling is doubtful given what I discussed above)? Yes? No? Don’t you think that djbruer might have a problem with you stealing his work?
So, then, it has come to this…
Seriously? Pun intended?
I never was claiming that you "stole" djbruer’s work. I was just asking if you thought it was okay for you borrow someone else’s work but not okay for someone else to borrow your work. And just earlier you said your complete edit includes stuff (with lots of SFX) from djbruer, which you didn’t state until I asked you about it.
But what you’re saying here makes no sense:
I can always use his version, it looks like the quality is better effectively
And let’s not forget the difference(s) that I pointed out between your work and 8JCC1’s work. At least one of his tracks continues on longer than your version of the same track did, and the quality of his track(s) is better than the quality of yours. Okay, so I haven’t ripped his tracks and compared them side by side with yours in Adobe Audition; that’s a judgment based solely on my own ears.

I followed the advices of mr.fate and I added tracks not used in the movie, there are 42 tracks now.
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
So either I need to go download an m4a plug-in just to play this one set of music in my vast collection, or you’ve somehow encoded it improperly (but T-Mann’s post doesn’t supprt that).
What’s new ?

So either I need to go download an m4a plug-in just to play this one set of music in my vast collection, or you’ve somehow encoded it improperly (but T-Mann’s post doesn’t supprt that).
You can always use foobar2000 to convert the m4a to anything you want as well.
I gave a thorough explanation on how to convert windows media lossless to FLAC here:
http://forums.ffshrine.org/f96/krull-complete-score-james-horner-2010-2-a-112552/#post1969426
foobar2000 natively supplorts m4A so the same process works. If you want to convert to mp3, you download the lame encoder from here:
http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php
and download either lame 3.99.5 regular or 64 bit depending on your computer. Simply open that zip file and copy lame.exe to the foobar2000 folder in Program Files same as with FLAC.
People can share in whatever format works easiest for them…it is up to those of us lucky enough to receive this wonderful music for free to convert it to the format that best suits us.

Now, GauthierG, I have downloaded your updated versions–both the one you put out like Sunday or Monday, and again when you updated them Tuesday night (or whenever it all was–either way, I now have three versions of your edit). After a brief analysis and comparison of the newer versions versus the older version, I am feeling…many things, but overarching them all is a sense of confusion. I know nobody gives two shits about what I say since apparently, no one has justification to criticize a DVD rip, but these are my thoughts and this is how I want to express them.
1. At first I was ready to jump on you for claiming that you’d fixed the volume levels when in fact you had done no such thing. But that was before I downloaded the latest version. I see now that you’ve adjusted the volume levels on the OST tracks apart from your tracks 36 and 37. Have those been adjusted yet in a still more recent update that I have yet download, or do you plan on fixing them in the future?
2. What happened to the fade-out in track 31 "Starscream Loses His Head"? In your previous version, it had a decent fade-out but now it just chops off. Which brings me to my next concern…
3. It’s a shame that you weren’t able to do anything about the tracks that just cut out or in which seem to indicate that…you don’t know how to use a fading tool. I mean, I’m not trying to sound harsh, but it just makes for a jarring listening experience when tracks such as tracks such as "I Need to Matter" and "Parental Counseling" cut out just when it sounds like they are getting started.
4. It’s also too bad that you couldn’t ever do anything about the mono tracks that sound like they had the karaoke effect applied to them as they originated from a two channel source. It seems to indicate that you didn’t do a bit of Blu-Ray or DVD audio extracting at all, but rather used a whole lot of other sources. Again, I’m not trying to sound harsh; I’m just trying to understand your edit better and the reasons behind the choices you’ve made. But I now know that’s a crime to ask of someone, so I can’t expect a decent response.
5. Continuing on, I noticed that "Storming Chicago" from your older version has been removed. Also, between the two versions of the edit that have been posted just this week, you have two completely different track 15s. Another related bit that I’m baffled over is: if tracks like 15, 27, and 28 feature material that can be found on the OST, why that material sounds like it was ripped from a really low quality source like YouTube instead of actually taking advantage of that higher quality OST material.
I have a few more things I could be bitching about, but none of it stands out so much as the stuff I’ve pointed out so far. I will, however, be leaving you with two questions I’d like to know the answers to:
1. What caused your abrupt stop on working on this edit? It seemed like it had a lot going for it, and while I am immensely thankful for the tracks that came out sounding decent, a large portion of this edit still feels…half-assed. A lot of tracks could still be improved upon–but then again, I don’t know where any of this came from, so maybe they can’t.
2. Do you have any future projects planned? Once you’ve had enough of this edit, are there other movies out there that are just waiting for you to use your magic ability on?
Woah, I chose to take a peak at the preview of this post before submitting it, and I sincerely apologize for it being so long. I hope everyone can manage that.

For someone who did NONE of the work, you sure seem pretty ungrateful for GauthierG’s efforts. And I mean that in the best possible non-judging manner. No hard feelings, just an observation of your statements.
I have been looking forever for someone to do this for me because I am now with family and never have time to do something like this. I have some pretty awesome ripping software and a bluray player and the TF3 bluray and could easily whip something up if I wanted. But to do something like this is VERY time consuming and I understand the extent of effort, time, and dedication it takes to make something like this and I for one am extremely grateful.
So thank you once again GauthierG. You in my opinion are quite the noble person.
…and though I personally am very sad that track # 28 (wingmen) cuts off before the end of the song and the quality wasn’t HD (not complaining), it was still something I can very much enjoy and appreciate at the expense of someone else’s hard work.
Oh great… another troll.
I think he’s being ironic. but in all seriousness, Mr. Fate should shut up. nitpicking has its limits, and in this kind of situation, when they’re behind you…you’re trolling, and to me, that’s what Fate is doing.

"Thank you for giving me this free thing, but it sucks. I’m not trying to say anything mean, but let me say something mean. Do you know what you’re doing? I do. I know all kinds of stuff. I’m not trying to sound mean, but I know more than you. A LOT more than you. Like, did you know water is wet? Because I don’t think you knew that. Let me go before I say something else you might construe as mean. You smell like a dirty diaper filled with Indian food."
Oh yeah, because mocking and criticizing my criticisms is a mature adult thing to do. I’m so sorry you people aren’t able to recognize constructive feedback when you see it. It is true that I do know all kinds of stuff, and I might even say I know more stuff that some people, but I do apologize for sounding condescending. If I sprinkled in some lols, and hahas, would that lighten the mood of my posts? I’m being totally serious–I’m not trying to sound sarcastic. I don’t know why everybody here thinks I am "Mr. Drama". You people turn my posts into drama. All I was presenting–all I am ever trying to present (except for my early posts here)–was an honest opinion.
If I created this expanded score, it was for me, because I liked the soundtrack of transformers 3. I share it because I know that many people like that, I answer even the requests of some, and there are always people who do not like it. I think that if I have to improve this version, I shall not share it. It is good to criticize, but would have been able to you to make it so much?
I, too, like the soundtrack of Transformers 3. And it’s true that everybody is always going to have that someone or someones who don’t like their edits. You can’t get everybody to like you–but trust me, I’m one of those people who likes you and your work very much…Which is why I am offering feedback and asking questions in an effort to help you make your edit better. I would not and cannot do a better job than you on it, because I don’t know how you did it.
Really, one of the biggest things that…I guess…I’m trying to say in total and absolute sincerity, is that if I had your magical talent, I would be using it differently–NOT better…just differently. (Beggars can’t be choosers, right?) I like what you’ve provided us with so far, but I am envisioning how you could make it all better. I strongly encourage you to continue doing updates. The only reason you might see me as the bad guy is because everything I say gets twisted around and everybody around us continually puts me in the bad light. Why am I victimized?
GauthierG, thank you again for your hard work. Some have a hard time appreciating what others do or even that they have PRIVATE lives outside of this. I know I appreciate any share I receive simply because I do not have the time to do some of the work and sharing that the great people on this site do to share with the community. I can’t speak for all of them but I’m sure the majority of them are thankful for your efforts and you sharing this with us. That said, anyone who is deeply unsatisfied with anything they download can go about learning how to do it themselves and share it on the site.
I’ve already responded to this, mostly, but I’d like to put it on the record that I’ve tried learning how to do it myself. When one Googles the terms "remove all SFX from Blu Ray audio", one does not get such satisfactory results. Sure, you can extract audio into multiple channels, but I have found no way to extract SFX that are embedded within that audio. I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to do much better than the likes of Metrotokyo and his phenomenal TRON edit, or The Dimensioner and the things he has shared here–which is why GauthierG truly has something special here.
I think he’s being ironic. but in all seriousness, Mr. Fate should shut up. nitpicking has its limits, and in this kind of situation, when they’re behind you…you’re trolling, and to me, that’s what Fate is doing.

And what a good (or bad?) quote to end on. I’m sorry that you feel like I’m trolling. I could continue talking on for a long time, but how could I ever know that my message is getting across? In fact, babbling on like I do so much is probably what has gotten me into this deep, unforgiving pit. And perhaps I should just shut the hell up. Perhaps I should just delete all the posts I’ve ever made in my brief, and apparently unwelcome existence on this forum. Maybe my words will get through this time, and if they don’t, ban me, since I am apparently viewed as nothing more than a troll in the eyes of so many.:cryingbatman:
Thanks a lot again 🙂
I know you mean well. And I know your an intellegent person, so please forgive me if I seem condescening as nothing could be further from my intention. But perhaps I may lend some needed perspective (as we all can require from time to time).
I don’t think your the "bad guy", but your passion could do well in a lower key. I know it’s not your intention, but you sometimes come across as intrusive, demanding or even entitled. Some of your personal flippant asides could be misconstrued as passive aggressive (or just plain aggressive) attacks upon your benefactor, so a little less commentary when asking honest technical questions might serve your puposes better.
Refrain from using impolite terms in relation or in direct refrence to others efforts, thought processes, or your fellow film score enthusiasts. Because it tends to subvert your sincerity.
If you’ve failed to be interpreted correctly and someone does take exception with your tone, the best thing you can do is to recognize your own failing at accurately conveying your true attitudes, grant a pithy apology of aknowledment, and then drop it. Do not go on the defensive by pointing out the failure of others to understand you by making a case for yourself as a martyr. Or give history lessons on your perceived victimizations. It can come across as narcissistic and off-putting, if not outright confrontational. Stop insisting eveyone is against you. That’s not the circumstances, it’s just that no one is here FOR you – please understand this.
So listen, I know your a good dude. I’m sure we all value valid input, of that which you are teaming. just a little overzealous is all (maybe try and watch that).
We’re ALL friends here, just show yourself friendly.
As for everyone else:
Conflict is the heart of all drama and requires two willing adversaries, therefore Mr. Fate cannot be it’s sole constructor.
Let’s please cut Mr. Fate a little slack. We can all respect his passion I think, and we should not desire to suppress it. He is our comrade afterall.
Let’s not be so quick to be short.
Let’s be simpatico. In harmony.
It irks me too, to be required to childishly smiley face stamp everything. But I’m gonna do it. Just to avoid inadvertent division, so you know where I’m coming from… wait for it… because this here is real… right from the heart… it’s gonna make you feel all warm inside… AAAnnnd… 🙂 BAM! Did you feel that?! one more time for the sweet souvenir… 🙂 Aahh-yeah, that’s the stuff! Legit.

Hey cheer up. you’re not evil and you’re not unwelcomed. You just need to be mindful of how others may interpret your words. Like digital note, you can’t ever put emotion behind what you say. So you have to go out of your way to make your point that you’re not being offensive or critical, thus the emoticons and light hearted text lingo). Mention that you really like and appreciate everything that’s being given to you for free and recognize the hard efforts BEFORE someone calls you out on it.
We’re all here to share and expand the ever growing world that is called music and share things that you cannot buy in stores or off websites because we love it. We are all fans and lovers of the same thing here. Your spoiler speech was more commendable than your actual posts just because you give credit where it was due and you sound appreciative. I work in customer service and have been doing so for over 13 years. The easiest tip I can give is to re-read what you wrote before actually posting and say "how would I interpret this if I had no clue what the person felt or meant behind the words?" Put yourself in the other person’s place.
Simply put, just always make sure you express gratitude and pay credit where it’s due. Lovers of music unit!

Mr. Fate – I’m likely butting in, and in which case I do beg your pardon. But if you’ll endulge me – some friendly advise:

I completely agree. The bickering should stop. And I know I took a swing at Mr. Fate, but I came back and actually did what you suggested Before even reading your post. He’s not a bad guy and any lovers of music should be welcome to enjoy it. Just be nice about it. No one owes anybody anything here and I’ve seen forums get closed because people were too rough with the creator. You shouldn’t have to smiley your way into people’s good graces, but you can be constructive rather than destructive. Say thanks before telling (or suggesting) how someone can do better when you truly have no idea just how hard or easy something was for them. Life’s too short to be mean. Just enjoy things as they come and be thankful for what you get.
If not, I don’t really know, but keep up the good work with these, they sound really good 🙂 take your time with them
Well, amybe just the whole final battle would be nice. Just the parts that aren’t in the OST. You already have the beginning so it’s not that much.
Or you could just do everything that’s missing 😀

The final battle IS on there…
Now that I checked, the final battle is there, but like it was on the OST. Not complaining, but I meant up there the "Mind Heist" remix of Prime killing everybody, it’s a bit different than the OST version.

The best I’ve found of the version used in the movie is a youtube fanmade instrumental facsimile with live Bono vocals laid on top.

I would like to hear that as well. I love U2. That song isn’t on any official album? I’m guessing it was heard for the first time in DotM? But I highly doubt they would record a song for Transformers…
Nope. :8

Must have missed it… Damn I’m an idiot 😀

Regardless, it would still be much appreciated (by some more than others) if you could still just do everything that is still missing (you meaning GauthierG here despite the fact that I quoted Clovie). Or, at the very least, you could complete the tracks that cut out (or cut in) like "Parental Counseling" or "Starscream Loses His Head" (I think)–even adding a fade-out or fade-in would be sufficient.
When tracks just cut out or in and there is no previous or following track that they are supposed to connect to, it makes for a jarring experience–which I’ve made well known. Damn, I didn’t mean to go off on my rambling again; I was trying to keep it more contained this time.
It means that the music is in mono. Do you know what stereo means? If you have two different mono tracks you can put them together to create a stereo track. However, some of the individual mono tracks that make up stereo tracks in this edit are identical so even though the stereo tracks is made of two separate tracks, both tracks are the same and thereby the track is in mono. Reasons for this phenomenon are left largely unexplained.
Let me google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=define%3A+monophonic)
Let me google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=define%3A+monophonic)
Google is your frind :D:treknod:
As a heads up, I also do not own the DVD/Blu-Ray and have only seen the movie once, so I may have to rely on rips on YouTube as my references. I have not yet decided what to do about the tracks heard in these edits that just cut out or in but I will be making adjustments to several other tracks, including volume fixes. Once I’ve made adjustments to a good amount, I’ll upload them all together later on with details about what changes were made in each track.
Thanks for your efforts to further the cause!
NOTE: I will upload this once. After the link goes dead, I will not re-upload it. I give permission to anyone else to re-up it. No, I will not mirror it to another host.
In this pack, you will find nine (9) revised tracks. Where applicable, I used my own sources (OST material), but other than that, yes, this is still largely GauthierG’s work. Below are the tracks and the modifications that have been made to them.
09-I’m His Girlfriend: GauthierG’s original version was a mono track that showed signs of being sourced from a two-channel source that had the karaoke effect performed on it. However, this track is sourced also from "Impress Me" from the OST. What you will find here is a mix of that OST track to produce something that sounds pretty close to GauthierG’s original track–except it’s in stereo!
14-Intel Confab: this track originated from Clay Duncan’s website. Gauthier’s version had some weird amplification patterns compared to what the track came out looking like when I ripped it from the composer’s website (as do all the tracks in his edit that were sourced from composers’ websites). So, the waveform is more normal…and the other thing I fixed was that I cut out the silences from Clay’s original track but not cut so much out like Gauthier did so as to chop off the fade-outs and fade-ins of the parts of the track.
31-Starscream Loses His Head: a previous version of this track had a clean fade-out, but in the most recent update, that fade-out was lost for some reason and the track now just cuts off. I could have just replaced it with the older version, but I thought I could maybe make the fade-out cleaner than before.
32-Kill The Prisoners: the newest version of this track now has a different starting bit than it did in the previous version…I did not make any adjustments there. No, the adjustment occurred at precisely 1:45.1 into the track, at which point an overlap/duplication of the music is audible. I won’t go into detail why I think this may have happened, so moving on…
33-NEST Regroups: in the previous version of this track (heard at the start of "This is Our World"), a skip is audible at 0:02.585-0:02.590. In the new version (different reference point due to a different amount of silence before the track starts), that skip is no longer present. Unfortunately, a new skip happens earlier in the track. I’ve superimposed the two versions of the cue together to eliminate both skips. I’ve also extended the outro of the new version by using what was heard in the old version.
34-It’s Our World Now: I just can’t stand tracks that cut out especially when they don’t line up with what they are supposed to, or you’re listening to your music on shuffle. I’ve said it a bunch, and I’ll say it again: it makes for a jarring listening experience. Whether this is how it’s actually heard in the movie or not, I’ve added a fade-out to this track. No other modifications were made apart from keeping the volume level appropriately adjusted.
35-Primes Fight: I’ve replaced this track with Clay Duncan’s version of it, which features both a clean intro and outro in addition to a slightly different arrangement early on in the track, and different mastering (he wasn’t in this for the loudness war, if you know what I mean).
36-You Think You Are a Hero: Gauthier forgot to adjust the volume level on this track to make it fit more closely with the rest of the tracks sourced from the OST. I’ve taken care of that.
37-I Promise: this one had the same issue as the previous track.
I have not decided what to do about the remaining mono tracks and/or the ones that are missing clean intros and/or outros. Any suggestions from everybody else who doesn’t have an opinion are welcome. Alternatively, since GauthierG, himself, is the only one who knows how to do the real magic here and is the person who has the most power, he could just make the fixes I don’t know how to. Just a thought. Enjoy my fixes, and look out for more, possibly!
At the moment I do not have time to take care of that. Thank you for have made that.

Mr. Fate, I forgive you. After listening your alternate tracks, you have proved me wrong big time. Great job!!!!!!!
Look forward to that update. And again… both props to you and Mr. Fate.
….You’re using my edits…which were sourced from your edits….in your new edit…? Can’t you just cut out the middle man (me) and make those fixes, firsthand? If you’ve got time to add in new tracks, you ought to have time to fix old tracks….And I can’t doubt that you have both the time and ability to do so.
You’re the one who has the greatest power in this thread. You’re the one who has the source material in this thread (wherever magical land it is coming from). And yet you are resorting to using someone else’s re-edits of your own edits in your next update…?
I’m sorry–and here, you people are probably just going to resort back to hating me and thinking I am no good–but this makes ya look kind of lazy.
EDIT: When I made those corrections, I had the thought in mind that you (GauthierG) wouldn’t ever be acknowledging and investigating the issues I had with your previous edits (the posts that everyone else said caused drama, but I was just trying to be honest). That’s why I took the matters into my own hands. I didn’t even expect that you would be uploading another revision because I got the sense that you were finished.
From the standpoint of "using someone else’s work but also giving them due credit", I am totally fine. From the standpoint of "using someone else’s work which is a re-edit of your own work in your own new edit", I am not okay. That’s it–the rest of this post still holds, though.
See? This:
Good god almighty there’s more drama and self back-patting here than at an all girls junior high
is precisely what I mean when I say this:
–and here, you people are probably just going to resort back to hating me and thinking I am no good–
Tell me, good sir, where the back-patting is happening, if I say a thing like:
From the standpoint of "using someone else’s work but also giving them due credit", I am totally fine.
You people absolutely make me sick, and I hate it that you all feel the need to thrive on creating drama out of nothing but honesty. Why does it have to be this way? I just don’t get it: I want to be honest and observant, offer valid suggestions, ask legitimate inquiries. But almost every damn time I post something here, my post is followed by roughly a minimum of three people saying, "Plz dont start teh dramas again!!!11!!"
Let’s not go through this again, so just allow me to reference the outcome of the last time this happened: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/transformers-dark-moon-expanded-score-gauthierg-version-111920/13.html#post1987191 and http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/transformers-dark-moon-expanded-score-gauthierg-version-111920/13.html#post1987510 and http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/transformers-dark-moon-expanded-score-gauthierg-version-111920/13.html#post1988590
Apparently, it’s my fault for not heeding the advice of those people I just linked to. Please just continue to mock me because I clearly haven’t learned anything.
But why not just gladly contribute to the communal cause of assembling the best possible presentation of the score and let the credit lay with Steve Jablonsky, its composer?
You refined some things that needed it, and it was aknowledged by all. You’ve done a service, no doubt.
Why resent that aknowledgement by taking exception at having your efforts incorporated into what you ultimately want – a better version of the score?
I do tip my hat to you, but it would seem you’re not fully cognizant of how your tone sometimes comes across as passive agressive or even incendiary.
Your intent is cordial and constructive, I know, but sometimes your demonstrative phrasing betrays that. Afterall, isn’t it all pretty much "found money" anyway? The incessant critiquing over "found money" is just tweaking others perceptions in less than positive ways. It’s undermining your obvious virtues.
Think about it. Isn’t it really all good?
It’s nothing but love here my friend.

Look, I apologize for my sarcasm, I do… It’s a problem I have. In person it comes out more as humor, but on the net, not so much. Anyway, all I was saying is you have no real reason to rant IMHO. You plainly used gauthierg’s work AND gave him credit, which is great. Then he says he’s going to do another version, using your edits (of his edits) and you flipped out! Why? What’s good for the goose isn’t good for the gander? It makes absolutely no sense. To put it simpler…
-gauthierg makes a version of this music
-you’re unsatisfied, so you make your own version using his edits
-he says he’ll make another using your edits
-you cry "no fair, that’s just wrong!"
You don’t see how this is a problem? If you don’t, then chew on this. NONE of this music belongs to any of us to begin with. NO ONE HERE has an exclusive right to this music PERIOD.
If you have a chance at all and are looking for other tracks, there a two small cues which i would love to hear which are not in your rip:
Laserbeak’s Theme (Scene just after Chernobl Battle against Driller when Laserbeak kills the russian dude in the car. Also used as Laserbeaks theme whenever his on screen).
We All Work For The Decepticons Now – Movie Version (Starts at 1.32.06 in the movie when you see a Superfund Security Truck driving up to Dylan’s building. Sounds different from when you hear it earlier in the movie).
This is only if you get the chance and dont mind, would be much appreciated, but either way your current work is already amazing.
Sure can! Love that theme too!
Yeah you can but its mixed in with another tune, not the full cue by itself. I did have it once before from Macdawsons rip that he posted a while back but i somehow lost it. I tried redownloading it but the links are megaupload so no longer valid. I did post a request for someone to reupload it, so if anyone on here has it that would be much appreciated.

All Links are dead… I’m sorry i’m late.. please could you reactive one? this music means everything to me
Why not download the real deal instead of this mishmash of odds and ends and strange low quality material? Thread 117873
😀 I was just thinking the same thing!
How old are you?
1.) This isn’t Scorepranos thread
2.) What?
The links are dead, and I don’t care if they have sfx or are edited or whatsoever. I’m looking for MORE than the original Transformers Dupey Soundtrack cause it sucks as hell as fuck. (sorry for the shit-ass language)
IS There a WORKING LINK in this thread, or is it all TALK and NO GAME, cause that would be LAME.
Also, usually we call it Captcha.
