And yes, its from the (gloriously AO-rated) PC game. Since the files were 30khz 16 bit, there are no frequencies above 15khz (for comparison a 44.1khz WAV, CD format, goes up to 22khz in both channels). So the frequency response is lower than a lossless CD. But the files that were originally in ACM format were 48khz 16 bit, so their frequency response is a lot better – even my VBR MP3s go right up to 22khz on these 😀

It’s been years and no word about the possible sequel, but I think someday Rockstar will revisit the franchise and hopefully create another dark mind-fucking adventure ^_^

I really hope so, MH2 has its haters but I think there is a lot about it that is good. The brutality alone (especially in the uncut version) really set a benchmark. I hope MH3 gets made.
