This torrent contains 35 tracks, 31 comprising the soundtrack for the Sega Genesis / Megadrive game Sonic The Hedgehog 2 by Sonic Team / Sega, as well as four "bonus" tracks from the Sonic 2 Beta. These were deemed different enough, and interesting enough, to warrant inclusion and make this a semi "archival" issue as well.

As with my Gunstar Heroes OSV remaster, I have added some sympathetic mastering, made appropriate edits and rearranged the tracklist so that it makes for a better listen as an "album".

This collection of audio does NOT in any way duplicate audio from any other Sonic The Hedgehog 2 music CD. I don’t think anything else needs to be said, it’s Sonic. I hope you all enjoy.

I haven’t ‘heard’ anything from you since well over a year ago, when I downloaded your Streets of Rage and Star Fox remasters in late 2010 or early 2011.

Also, WTF? The download speed goes up to like 81, then drops to 26… It seems to be…. well it was going up, but as soon as I was about to type that it’s going up, it starts going down… OK now it’s going up… well you know what torrents are like. It’s impossible to download a torrent at 100% speed AFAIK. There’s no way I’m going to be able to download all 524 MB tonight, as it’ll probably be at least 7 am. It’s already 5:19 am… but I can’t wait to hear it when it has finished finally.

I wasn’t trying to sound impatient, just saying how torrents take longer to download.

Wow. This is just awesome. I’ve heard some bad remasters from self-proclaimed audio kings in this forum but this is genuinely enhanced to perfection. Simple amazing. Congratulations and thanks for the share.
