I just wanted to compile all my Saturn rips here. All are VBR -V0 MP3s (ripped & encoded straight from the physical game discs) and properly tagged. These redbooks sound way different then the released soundtracks. Maybe the audio enhancements made it sound a bit different.
Hyakutaro Tsukumo was such a wonderfull addition to ThunderForce. 😀
Though… Toshiharu Yamanishi was the one composer who made such epic and catchy music of all of the TecnoSoft music team.
Tracks like Venus Fire , Knights of legend and METAL SQUAD…. if METAL SQUAD was a girl, I would not think twice about marriage. XD

Dodonpachi Sega Staurn….I did not knew it was for saturn too. If I knew I don’t remember. The music is Sooo Band sounding. 😀 I think I like this version much more then the released soundtrack 🙂

I agree. I don’t know if they sound "better" than the released soundtracks, though. I guess it all depends on your taste.

no no. It is not taste thing. It is the sound itself. For example, a very another dimension example, the soundtrack released was mono tracks, and here is stereo. That is the "sound better" I mean.

And no, the soundtracks released are not mono. I was just trying to explain how the sound seems to differ. 🙂

Yeah, I know what you meant. I was just saying…it all depends on what kind of sound you want to hear. I listen to these Redbook rips when I want to hear the actual in-game music, while I’ll listen to the released soundtracks when I want to bump them in my ride. 😀

If so, anyone have the Burning Rangers soundtrack? After hearing the main theme in S&ASRT, I fell in love with the cheeziness of it.

Its usually better to make a request in the Request section so that more people will see it and be able to help you out. But I don’t mind you making a request here at all.

I think the OST of Burning Rangers might’ve already been posted a while back.

Honestly, I don’t mind which version I get, just as long as (at least for the Rockman Sega Saturn games) they have the vocal opening and endings alongside with the music.
